Here's Why Swifties Think Taylor Swift Might Be Taking the Super Bowl Halftime Stage in 2023

Manifesting starts now!

Though she's one of the biggest stars in the world, Taylor Swift has never set foot on the iconic Super Bowl halftime stage. Swifties long ago accepted that they may never see the long-term partner of Diet Coke play the Pepsi-sponsored show, but our time may have finally come.

Back in May, Pepsi announced on Twitter that they were pulling out of the halftime show, and earlier today it was announced that Apple Music would take their place as a sponsor of the iconic annual spectacle.

This may not hold much meaning for the locals, but for Swifties, who will remember that Apple Music released the filmed version of her 1989 World Tour and was the first streaming service to agree to fairly compensate artists for streams and held exclusivity to her music catalog from June of 2015 through June 2017, it seems like a promising first step, given their pre-existing relationship.

On top of that, Apple Music announced the sponsorship at midnight. They said absolutely nothing about Swift or any other potential headliner, but the timing of it all seems far too suspicious to be a coincidence given that a massive amount of Swift's fans were already online for her second Midnights Mayhem, where she reveals her track list one by one.

"so all i’m seeing is taylor swift super bowl halftime show 2023," one Twitter user wrote in response to the news.

"THE IMPLICATIONS THIS HAS FOR A POTENTIAL TAYLOR SWIFT SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW," exclaimed another

"I do not think the country, as a whole, is prepared for the mere idea of a Taylor Swift Super Bowl performance," said another

So now is when we manifest
