Here's what you'll find if you visit all 8 'Art in the Parks' Lower Makefield sculptures

Eight sculptures designed by the late New Jersey artist Seward Johnson are on display in parks throughout Lower Makefield through Sept. 1.

"We are thrilled to bring these sculptures to our community," said Bette Sovinee, executive director of the Artists of Yardley (AOY) Art Center. Seward Johnson was "one of the world's most talented sculptors and his work has the power to inspire, entertain and uplift all who view it."

The exhibit is made possible through a grant from Visit Bucks County with Lower Makefield and the AOY Art Center providing matching funds. Monica Tierney, parks director said the project is designed as a response to a community interest survey "that found residents were interested in more arts and culture within the township.

"When this came to light, AOY Art Center reached out to the township to determine a joint course of action and with a little creative thinking, a plan for Art in the Parks emerged," Tierney said.

The sculptures and their display locations are:
