Hermleigh crushes TLCA-Abilene boys in basketball, remains unbeaten in district play

Louis Esparza, Zane Nachlinger and Bubba Digby combined for 32 points as Hermleigh remained unbeaten in District 14-1A boys basketball play with a 63-6 victory over TLCA-Abilene on Tuesday at Eagle Game.

Esparza scored a game-high 12 points, while Nachlinger and Digby added 10 each for the Cardinals (18-8 overall, 6-0 district).

Zaidryn Moreno-Nobles scored four points for the Eagles (0-22, 0-6), and Jonathan Kirk had two.

TLCA-Abilene plays at Ira on Friday, while Hermleigh plays at Ira on Thursday before hosting Trent on Friday.
