Heroes Special, Rice Bowl Fridays at Berkley Beer Company

Berkley Beer Company, 10 Ingell St., Taunton, has added Rice Bowl Fridays to its weekly line-up. The rice bowl will include: rice of course, black beans, pico corn, guacamole, shrimp or chicken, and a chipotle mayo drizzle. They're open on Fridays from noon to 10 p.m., and, from noon to 4:30 p.m., they're offering a $10 Heroes Special for teachers and first responders. Weekly specials at Grove Street Tavern

Bring your appetite and check out the weekly specials at Grove Street Tavern, 53 Grove St., Taunton. This week, they've got southwest chicken and French onion soups, plus apple crisp for dessert. Meal specials include: habanero mango chicken tenders; salt and vinegar chicken wings; tuna melt; country fried chicken parm sandwich; steak tips and fried shrimp; Portuguese chicken with Mozambique sauce; a stuffed turkey wrap; and Grove Street Tavern Big Mac Pizza, with a thousand island base, ground beef, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles.

Grab a sweet treat at Tom & Jimmy's, 337 Winthrop St., Taunton. They've got frozen pudding: rum-flavored ice cream, with peaches, cherries, raisins, and apples. Their Middleboro location is at 109 W. Grove St.

Powerhouse performs at Atlantic Cafe for New Year's Eve

Ring in 2024 with a performance by Powerhouse at Atlantic Cafe, 10 Plain St., Taunton. The show begins at 9 p.m. on New Year's Eve, and there's no cover charge. There will also be a champagne toast at midnight. For the latest updates, follow along on Facebook.

Karaoke night at Crue Brew Brewery

Enjoy some brews, food, and tunes at Crue Brew Brewery, 95 Ryan Dr., Raynham. On Friday, Dec. 29, they're hosting a karaoke night, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The Just the Dip food truck will be there from 4 to 8 p.m., serving up crowd-pleasing fries, pretzel nuggets, crispy Brussels sprouts, nachos, chicken strips, and more.
