Bruce Springsteen caught a fish in Seattle.

It went down Sunday, Feb. 26, at the city's famous Pike Place Fish Market, where the Boss visited the day before the E Street Band's show at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.

“It's pretty special to come up behind the counter,” said employee Ryan Rector of Springsteen getting the fish thrown at him. “We don't invite every single person who comes up, but a couple of times of day we can make that happen.”

They made it happen for Springsteen, who impressed the crew with his fish-catching skills. After the catch, they told Bruce to "Hold it up for world, man!" The scene was caught on a video, which was making the rounds on Monday, Feb. 27.

“The Boss has got hands,” Rector said. “He was a natural. The first try he caught it — he did good. He was super friendly, too, and he's got a good firm handshake on him.”

The crew of the market threw a chum salmon at Springsteen, yelling “T T for Bruce!” prior to the toss, indicating that it's not for sale.

“That was one we throw for fun. Then we freeze them and feed them to the bears at the zoo,” Rector said.

There's a lot of excitement in Seattle over Springsteen and E Street Band show.

“Everybody's going crazy trying to get tickets for that,” Rector said. “They're even trying to hit up their local fish monger for tickets. We didn't ask for tickets even though we'd like to go.”
