Flea markets around metro Detroit offer a wide range of local products and goods that cannot be found elsewhere. From vintage clothing and antiques to handmade art and jewelry, shoppers can find their next hidden treasure or unusual item at these local flea markets.

Dixieland Flea Market — Waterford

With approximately 230 vendors right now, Dixieland Flea Market is Michigan's most popular indoor, and largest outdoor, flea market.

Vendors in the 90,000-square-foot space sell collectible toys, comics, vinyl records, rare coins, books, vintage clothing and costumes, accessories and much more.

"You'll never know what you'll find, because we buy and sell everything," according to the market. "In addition to the many shops, you will find several eateries, jewelry repair, computer repair, graphic design, custom made T-shirts, a hair salon, a barber shop and even a chiropractor. Everything is always on sale at Dixieland!"

Vintage Eastern Market — Detroit

Find clothing, housewares, furniture, accessories, glassware, records, souvenirs and more at the Vintage Eastern Market, previously known as Eastern Market Antiques.

  • Open:

    • 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday

    • 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday

    • 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday

  • Location: 1515 Division St. B, Detroit

The market also holds an annual Vintage Alley event with more than 50 vendors — selling clothing, local art, decor, furniture and other vintage items.

Greenlawn Grove Flea Market — Romulus

More than 300 vendors gather at Greenlawn Grove Flea Market in Romulus each summer. Along with a food court — vintage clothes, purses, jewelry, shoes, art, antiques, flowers, furniture and more can be found at this flea market.

Clawson Makers Market — Clawson

Clawson Makers Market is a local artisan market, open year-round. Currently with 87 vendors, shoppers can find handmade artwork, high-end crafts, jewelry, candles, greeting cards and more.

    • 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Sunday Market at Eastern Market — Detroit

Eastern Market's Sunday Market showcases the work of local artists, cooks, jewelers, musicians and more. Shoppers can find merchandise, handmade items, housewares, clothing and some prepared foods.

"Each Sunday will feature additional events that bring the spirit of the market to life," according to the Eastern Market.

    • 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Sunday starting June 4 to Sept. 24

  • Location: All Sheds, 2934 Russell St., Detroit

Shed 5 Flea — Detroit

Throughout the summer, three Shed 5 Flea events will be held at the Eastern Market, selling new and vintage clothes, accessories, antiques, art, handmade wares and more.

    • 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays: June 11, July 9 and Aug. 13
