High Point motorist charged in I-85 wreck

Feb. 14—DAVIDSON COUNTY — A motorist from High Point was charged in a wreck that shut down all northbound lanes of Interstate 85 Tuesday morning.

Marcus Price, 32, was driving north on I-85 near Thomasville about 7:30 a.m. when he tried to change lanes and sideswiped a tractor-trailer, Master Trooper Ned Moultrie of the N.C. State Highway Patrol said. The two vehicles wrecked, and the northbound lanes were closed for an hour.

No one was seriously hurt, Moultrie said.

Price was charged with careless and reckless driving, Moultrie said.
