A look at high school baseball and softball top performers from games this week in Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend.

Baseball

Ryan Carrillo, Santa Gertrudis Academy: Carrillo finished the night 2 for 3 with two runs and two RBI in a victory against Hebbronville.

Antonio Deleon, Mathis: Deleon was 2 for 5 with three RBI and a run in a win against Odem.

Nick Flores, Sinton: Flores smacked two doubles and drove in four runs in a 2 for 3 night in a run-rule victory against Beeville.

Julian Gomez, Odem: Gomez was 2 for 3 with four runs and three RBI in a win against Aransas Pass.

Daniel Lopez, Odem: Lopez was 3 for 5 with two runs and an RBI in a loss to Mathis.

Sonny Mann, Skidmore-Tynan: Mann was 2 for 3 with an RBI and a run in a win against Port Aransas.

Alberto Puente, Tuloso-Midway: Puente finished 3 for 4 with two doubles and an RBI in a win against Kingsville.

Richie Roman, Veterans Memorial: Allowed three hits and struck out 12 in a complete-game shutout victory against Veterans Memorial.

Aydan Smith, Rockport-Fulton: Smith finished 3 for 6 with two runs, two RBI and three doubles in a victory against West Oso.

Josh Suarez, Taft: Suarez was 2 for 4 at the plate with two runs and an RBI, and threw 6.1 innings, giving up one run on four hits with 11 strikeouts and no walks.

Christian Tijerina, Flour Bluff: Tijerina struck out 11 in a complete-game shutout win against Moody.

Blake Watters, London: Watters threw second innings, allowing two hits and no runs with stix striouts and four walks in a win against Hebbronville.

Softball
