West Branch four-year starter Anna Lippiatt headed to Muskingum to play basketball

BELOIT — Anna Lippiatt led all scorers with 21 points and West Branch took control with a 27-point third quarter to defeat visiting Cardinal Mooney 69-31, Wednesday night.

Sophia Gregory added 16 points for West Branch (14-3), which led 31-16 at halftime and outscored the Cardinals 27-10 in the third quarter.

Maria Fire had 10 points for Mooney (7-8).

Louisville 57, Western Reserve Academy 43

LOUISVILLE — Freshman Courtney Barwick scored 14 points and Kelsey Adelman added nine points and seven rebounds as Louisville improved to 11-4.

Brooke Haren finished with 12 points for the Leopards, who led 31-21 at halftime.

Arianna Myers led Western Reserve Academy (7-5) with 17 points.

Southeast 51, St. Thomas 43

PALMYRA TWP. — St. Thomas cut a 15-point deficit to three with two minutes left, but Southeast was able to hold on for the win.

Abby Fischer of Southeast led all scorers with 25 points. Reagan Pettigrew finished with 10.

Paris Everett led St. Thomas with 14 points. Avery Bussey finished with 13 for the Knights. Ava Soehnlen added 10.

Boys

Leetonia 32, Sebring 31

SEBRING -- Dustin Black and Connor Shepherd had seven points apiece as Sebring fell to visiting Leetonia.

Joe Guido paced the Bears with 11 points.
