Hoban's path: Defeated Uniontown Lake, 15-6, def. Kenston, 9-7

On Deck: The winner advances to the regional final against the winner of Chagrin Falls and Gilmour on May 24.

For the Record: These two met earlier in the season and just like all of their regular-season outings, the Preppers were victorious. University is led by the strong play of Preston Blue. He leads the area with 67 goals and 49 assists and has continued that pace during the postseason. The Preppers have also been led by the work of Charlie Freer (39 goals, 21 assists), Andrew Voinovich (33 goals, 20 assists) and Nico Alvarez (32 goals, 21 assists). The defense has just been as strong as the attack for the Preppers. Cooper Mlakar is tied for the area lead in takeaways with 41 while Julian Guirguis has caused 113 ground balls. The Knights are going to hope for a fast start but have to find a way around the strong goaltending of Magnus Holubar, as he has recorded 126 saves.
