High school boys soccer: Hundt, Fox named boys soccer NIC MVPs

Jaxson Hundt of Mishawaka Marian and Hudson Fox of Bremen are this year's MVPs for boys soccer in the Northern Indiana Conference.

The duo of Marian's Ben Householter and New Prairie's Daniel Reffo were tabbed as the Coaches of the Year in the league this fall.

Jaxson Hundt, Mishawaka Marian

Hundt, a senior, was MVP of the East-West Division after leading the Knights to a Division title and first sectional championship since the 2016 season. He currently has 24 goals this season.

Joining Hundt on the East-West All-NIC team was Eduardo Cabrera and Gian Romero of Elkhart, Zach Fewell and Noah Balyeat of Marian, Braden Murphy and Drew Widner of Penn, John Adams and Fabian Velazquez of South Bend Adams and Trey Place and Gave Nanni of South Bend Saint Joseph.

The East-West Honorable Mention list included Jared Garcia and Daniel Lopez of Elkhart, Eli Moody and Marco Aguilar of Marian, Rafael Ferreira and Carter Utz of Penn, Brian Marin, Diego Blount and Enzio Gizzi of Adams and Sam Harshman and Mas Ksiezopolski of Saint Joe.

Hudson Fox of Bremen

Fox, a junior, was MVP of the North-South Division after leading Bremen to a division title. Fox scored 27 goals for the Lions this season.

Joining Fox on the North-South All-NIC team were his teammates Josh Pearson, Grant Devine and Anthony Torres, Ryan Shoue and Jonathan Kambol of Glenn, Aiden Veldman and Trent Platz of New Prairie, Jorge Gonzalez and Zachary Pflugner of South Bend Clay and Manuel Rodriguez of South Bend Washington.

The North-South Honorable Mention list included Irubel Macias, Jonathan Flores and Emmanuel Garcia of Bremen, Braylon Smith and Jayce Pugh of Glenn, Owen Chalik and Corbin Jonas of New Prairie, Isaiah Pryor, Derrick Vondrak and Luciano Kida of South Bend Riley and Andres Coria of South Bend Washington.
