Parents were asked not to call the campus or come to campus as school officials said they needed to keep driveways open for dismissal and phone lines open for emergency communications.
“We are taking this threat seriously and conducting a full investigation in an abundance of caution,” officials said. “Law enforcement agencies are arriving at the school to sweep the campus.”
Buses started taking students home immediately.
Police were still out at the school investigating just before 3 p.m.
Officials have not said what type of bomb threat they received or if officers investigating found any evidence of a bomb.
