HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY: O'Shea and Masters sweep titles again

Aug. 29—Madison Central's Ciara O'Shea and Brady Masters swept the individual titles on Saturday in the varsity events at the Bourbon County Colonel Charge in Paris.

O'Shea posted a time of 18:36 and led the Lady Indians to a third-place finish out of 26 teams.

Masters cleared the course, which is once again play host to the state meet again this season, in 16:08, leading the Indians to a sixth-place finish out of 26 teams.

In the girls race, Central's Amilya Reynolds (21:39) was 14th. Meredith Campbell was 32nd. Makayla Bickett was 33rd and Jamie Gugel finished 51st.

In the boys race, Central's Carter Lamb posted a time of 19:27 and was 34th. Chase Lochmueller was 49th. Brody Coleman finished 51st. Carter Skidmore was 62nd. Mike Kipelio was 115th and Mark Kipelio was 140th.

In the middle school girls race, Central's Shelby Lamb took first place in a time of 10:17.

Rowan Ratcliff was 13th in a time of 14:06. Lexy Ngetich was 45th. Abigail Beall was 63rd and Kyamarra Mutuse was 83rd.

In the boys middle school race, Central's Caden Coleman was 26th in a time of 12:55 and William Marlen was 56th.
