This week's Varsity 845 Player of the Week poll is live. Finalists were chosen based on games played Sept. 19 to 25 and on information reported to the Times Herald-Record.

Finalists (listed alphabetically)

Dan Breheny, Cornwall

The quarterback had five total touchdowns to lead host Cornwall (3-1) to a 52-0 win over Goshen (1-3). Breheny went 6 of 10 passing for 151 yards and four touchdowns, along with 58 rushing yards on four carries with a rushing touchdown.

Tony Drewnowski, New Paltz

Drewnowski ran for 82 yards on 11 carries and had two rushing touchdowns to lead visiting New Paltz (2-2) over Liberty (0-3).

Ethan Gallo, Minisink Valley

Gallo ran for 170 yards on 11 carries, with one touchdown in his team's 34-7 win over Pine Bush. He also kicked four extra points. The senior running back has nearly 600 rushing yards in his team's first three games.

Austin Hartman, Tri-Valley

Hartman rushed for 119 yards on 14 carries and two touchdowns and both two-point conversions to lead visiting Tri-Valley (2-1) over Ellenville (0-3). Defensively, Hartman made a team-high eight tackles (five solo, two for a loss).

Joey Krasniewicz, Warwick

The southpaw quarterback threw for three touchdowns, one for 33 yards to Nate Constable, the next to Skyler Rodriguez for 30 yards and one to Latrell Willis for 39 yards. His composure and the team's depth helped guide his team to a 34-0 homecoming win over Wallkill.

Chris Leahy, Burke Catholic

Leahy rushed for five touchdowns and 271 yards in Burke Catholic's 56-21 win over Highland.

Andrew Rein, Fallsburg

Rein rushed for 175 yards and a touchdown and also threw a 40-yard touchdown to Isaiah Young to lead visiting Fallsburg (2-0) to a 20-14 win over Livingston Manor/Roscoe (0-3).

Eryk Shammgod/Conor Fitzgibbon, Monroe-Woodbury

Shammgod ran for 155 yards on 11 carries and two touchdowns in his team's 55-0 victory over Beacon. Conor Fitzgibbon also had two touchdowns, a rushing score and a 35-yard interception return. He also had a second interception as well.

Will Siebert, Chester

Siebert threw for three touchdown passes, two to Xavier Espaillat and one to Alex Bastian to lead host Chester (2-1) to a 34-6 win over Roosevelt (1-3).

Johnny Soi, Rondout Valley

Soi had 179 rushing yards on 17 carries and one rushing touchdown, along with a passing touchdown to lead host Rondout Valley (2-2) to a 28-7 win over Saugerties (0-4). He also went 3 of 5 passing and had a fumble recovery on defense.

Nick Waugh, James I. O'Neill

The quarterback threw for 243 yards and two touchdowns (58 yards to Jadon Spain and 7 yards to Marek Arbogast) to lead visiting James I. O'Neill (2-2) to a 35-7 win over Red Hook (3-1).
