With the Stallions trailing 13-0, Avery Garlock ran for two scores to cut the defecit to 20-14. But with seven seconds remaining, Brown picked off Garlock for the game-clinching score. Badin's Braeden Moore led all players with 105 yards on eight receptions.

Deonte Rucker threw two TD passes and Dshawntau Jones dominated on the ground with 230 yards for Glenville, which totaled 448 yards of offense. QB Andrew Leonard got the Patriots withing six points, highlighted by a 18-yard pass to Alexander Okuley, who lateraled to Evan Nelson, who ran it in for a 29-yard score with 2:28 remaining. Oluley finished with eight receptions and 100 yards.

Newark opened up a 28-7 lead over Mt. Vernon but had to rally late to secure a victory in nonleague action. Steele Meister accounted for two touchdowns, Austin Rose two more and Newark scored four touchdowns in the first quarter. But Joel Hubbard threw three TD passes to Jonny Askew and Mt. Vernon took a 34-28 lead on an Evan Owens six-yard run with 4:52 remaining. Max Durbin's 4-yard score as time expired clinched the victory. Max Durbin and Hayden Reischman combined to kick all five extra points. Mt. Vernon missed two.
