High school football: New team in The Fresno Bee’s Top 25 rankings following big win
The Fresno Bee high school football rankings were shuffled a bit following a few upsets, with a new team entering the Top 25 after a big win.
That would be Exeter.
The now 24th-ranked Monarchs are in after they defeated Porterville 17-12.
The Panthers fell 11 spots to No. 25.
Porterville isn’t the only team that suffered a significant drop.
Kingsburg was rolled by Tulare Union 42-12.
As a result, the Vikings have fallen 11 spots, out of the Top 10, to No. 21.
The Tribe moved past Kingsburg in the rankings, checking in at No. 19.
Most other ranked teams did not play, but will resume action this week when other leagues begin the second half of the season.
