LAKE VIEW 6, LUBBOCK ESTACADO 1

Five different players scored goals as the Chiefs took a 6-1 victory against Lubbock Estacado in District 2-4A play on Tuesday.

Christian Gatlin scored two goals, and JV Antu, Tyler Dunn, Elvis Koech and Izaiah Rios also found the back of the net in the victory. Rodriguez Martinez, Gatlin, Antu, Ricky Ramirez and Dunn each had assists. Cameron Mobley added five saves as well in the win.

LAKE VIEW 2, MIDLAND GREENWOOD 0

The Chiefs closed out the first half of District 2-4A play undefeated after a 2-0 victory against Greenwood on the road. Elvis Koech and Christian Gatlin each scored goals in the victory as Tyler Dunn added an assist.

Lake view is 14-0-1 overall and 6-0 in district play.

GIRLS

LUBBOCK ESTACADO 1, LAKE VIEW 0

The Maidens suffered their first loss of the season on the road on Tuesday. Lake View is 9-3-3 overall and 4-1 in District 2-4A.

LAKE VIEW 1, MIDLAND GREENWOOD 0

Alyssa DeLaCruz scored the lone goal for the Maidens in a District 2-4A victory on Friday. Lake View is 10-3-3 overall and 5-1 in district play and next plays Snyder on Tuesday at home.

CENTRAL 1, ODESSA PERMIAN 1

The Central girls soccer team won a shootout against Odessa Permian on Tuesday at Old Bobcat Stadium. Carley Martinez scored the goal in regulation and then the Bobcats won the penalty kicks shootout 4-2. Sydney Herbert was in goal for the Central in the victory.

Central is 8-1-4 overall and has seven points in District 2-6A play this season.
