High school results for Tuesday, and Wednesday's schedule

BOYS SOCCER

EWG 4, Johnston, 2: Patrick Baum scored twice and Jackson White and Eli Beltran scored a goal apiece as the Scarlet Knights doubled-up on the Panthers in Division 3. Marlin Soto scored both goals and goalie Justin Espinal recorded 13 saves for Johnston (5-8-1) in  Division III.

North Smithfield 5, West Warwick 1: The Northmen extended their unbeaten record to 13-0-1 thanks to Aidan Bienvenue, who knocked in 3 goals in their Division II game against the Wizards. Josh Neves and Domenick Neri also scored for North Smithfield, while Mike Strain had the West Warwick tally. Sam Beauchemin stopped 12 shots for the Northmen; Dan Alvarez had 8 saves for the Wizards.

GIRLS SOCCER

Central 5, Times2/Paul Cuffee/St. Pat's 0: Jessica Gutierrez knocked in four goals and Ja'Lyshanae Vanover had the other one as the Knights overwhelmed T2/PC/SP in Division IV. Margeory Gioron Reyes got the shutout by making 6 saves while Temitope Olawuji kept it close for T2/PC/SP by stopping 12 shots.

North Smithfield 6, Bay View 2: Alessandra Camastro found the back of the net four times and Nina Finn scored twice and Finn, Kailey Salinaro and Juiliana Sirignano each added two helpers as the Lady Northmen win the Division II contest. Bay View's Jordan Foster and Lyndsey Heath had a goal each for Bay View. Samantha Austin posted 18 saves in the victory.

Pilgrim 4, La Salle 0: Amaya Coffie scored two goals and teammates Gillian Brown and Lorelai Leddy scored a goal apiece as the Patriots blanked the Rams. Haylee Marcotte had 6 saves to earn the shutout and Kennedy Smith record 8 for La Salle.

Narragansett 4, St. Raphael 4: Julieanne Harris, Anna HartAlexa Poirier, Maya DeAngeles each scored a goal for the Mariners only to be matched by Karina Contreras, Maylan Fernandes, Sam Marsis and Elizabeth Alcantara of the Saints and the Division III contest ended in a tie. McKenna Mare had 10 saves for SR and Grace Blessing collected 8 for Narragansett.

FIELD HOCKEY 

Lincoln School 3, Burrillville 2 (o.t.): With the score tied at 2-2 at the end of regulation, Julianne Casey scored 54 second into the overtime period and the Broncos escaped with a win. Other goal scorers for the Lynx were Campbell Lambert and Ella Brown. Morgan Rainville and Brenna Wilson each had a goal for Burrillville and Abigail Lambert had an assist. Sevanah Michel had 4 saves in the win and Rayna Polacek stopped 8 for Burrillville. It was the last regular season match for both teams but these same two teams will meet again in the Division I playoff semifinal on Wednesday, Nov. 2.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Central Falls 3, Block Island 2 (26-24, 23-25, 21-25, 25-23, 15-4). Joana Rodrigues was dominate up front with 12 kills, 9 aces and 5 digs helping  the Central Falls edge Block Island in a very competitive match. Block Island's libero, Campbell Coviello, had 12 digs and setter Cally Weber was good for 6 aces, 3 kills, 2 digs and 13 assists.

Lincoln 3, Middletown 2 (20-25, 20-25, 25-21, 25-11, 11-15): Casey Weaver had 14 kills, 8 digs, 5 aces and Kimberly Hickey had 26 digs, 3 aces in the Lions win. Amber Dunn had 4 kills, 16 digs and 1 ace. Gianna Piker had 16 kills in the loss.

Portsmouth 3, West Warwick 0 (25-23, 25-9, 25-19): Avery Snyder, Adele Palmer and Gracie Keyes combined for 8 kills, 14 digs and an ace as the Patriots improve to 11-4 in Division. The Wizards were led by Liz Gracian (12 kills, 12 digs) and Kayla Goldstein (4 kills, 13 digs).

Barrington 3, North Smithfield (25-17, 23-25, 25-16, 25-12): The play of Sophia Denham (10 kills, 15 assists) and Kasey Dillon (5 kills, 6 aces and 5 digs) paved the way for the Eagles win over the Lady Northmen. Carly Samek had 4 kills, 3 aces and 4 blocks for NS. JV - B, 2-1.

Johnston 3, Ponaganset 0 (25-22, 25-16, 25-20): JV - P, 2-1.

North Kingstown 3, Prout 0 (25-13, 25-18, 25-15): Tessa LaFreniere finished with 9 kills and 3 aces and Sydney Henson chipped in with 12 digs and 2 aces as the Skippers improved to 13-2 in Division II.

Chariho 3, Westerly 2 (15-25, 26-24, 19-25, 25-23,17-15): An outstanding effort by the Bulldogs almost knocked off the unbeaten Chargers but the play of Finleigh Callahan (11 kills, 4 aces) and Jules White (11 kills, 4 aces) was just enough for Chariho to get by Westerly in Division II. The Bulldogs were led by Rachel Federico (6 digs, 12 kills, 5 aces, 3 digs and 1 block) and Alex Stoehr (12 digs, 18 assist, 6 aces and 2 kills).

East Providence 3, Mt. Hope 2 (25-22, 22-25, 25-10, 16-25 17-15): Emma Nordquist had 9 kills, 24 assists and 2 aces and Brookelyn Feola recorded 8 kills, 16 digs and 6 aces as East Providence def. Mt. Hope to move to 12-2 in Division II.  The Huskies, now 8-6, were led by Mia Shaw who had 14 digs, 17 assists and five kills in the loss. JV - MH, 2-0.

Pilgrim 3, Burrillville 0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-18): Gianna Ramos had 9 kills, 7 aces and 4 blocks and Kaleigh Catucci had 8 kills, 1 ace and 2 digs in the Patriots win. JV - Bur, 2-1
