HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP: Barnstable boys ice hockey wins tourney title
The Barnstable High boys ice hockey won the Bridgewater Christmas Tournament with a 2-1 win over Natick.
Coley Buckler scored one of the two goals and was named the tourney MVP. Owen Tuepker scored the other goal for Barnstable (3-1-1). Bob Doherty played well in net. Chase Semprini, Ian Devito, Doherty and Chase Field were named to the all-tourney team.

Boys Ice Hockey
Sandwich 8, Middleboro 1: Chris Cardillo scored four goals and dished out two assists for the Blue Knights. Jack Connolly had two goals and two assists for Sandwich (4-1-1). Colin handed out four assists and added a goal, Harrison Glover scored his first varsity goal, and Shane Corcoran and Silas Ohman each contributed an assist.
Plymouth South 6, St. John Paul II 0: The Lions (0-4-1) fell to the Panthers back-to-back nights.
Boys Basketball
Plymouth North 66, Nauset 58: The Warriors (3-2) lost their second game of the season with a lost to the Eagles.

Girls Ice Hockey
Plymouth South/North 5, ORR-BMW 1: Isa Rioux scored her second goal in two games, but it was not enough to get the win for ORR-BMW (2-5-0). The line made up of Emily Kilpatrick, Charlotte Pickering, and Riley Thomas played good defensive hockey that created turnovers.

Brookline 5, Nantucket 3: The Whalers (0-2-0) lost to the Warriors.
Girls Basketball
Bourne 50, Martha’s Vineyard 46: Mackenzie Wenzel scored 16 points for the Canalwomen in a win over the Vineyarders. Paige Meda added 15 for Bourne (4-1). Maria Andrade led the Vineyarders with 15 points. Piper Blau and Delilah Oliver each had 11 points.

Plymouth North 63, Nauset 31: The Warriors (2-5) lost to the Panthers.
New Bedford 62, Sandwich 40: The Lady Knights (1-4) lost to the Whalers.
