HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP: Barnstable and Dennis-Yarmouth field hockey split the points.

The Barnstable (6-4-1) and Dennis-Yarmouth (2-4-3) High field hockey teams played out a 2-2 tie Wednesday afternoon.

Barnstable's Ella Salas set up Ally McEneaney for the  game's first goal, and her ninth goal of the season.

Sydney Thomas then doubled the Red Hawks lead. The Dolphins scored twice in the second half to nab the tie. The first came when Leah Woodward turned in Lauren Campbell's pass. The second came when Woodward found Jordyn Pineau to level the score.

Girls Volleyball

Nantucket 3, Sturgis East 0: The Whalers (8-0) swept the Storm (25-20, 25-20, 25-17) to continue their undefeated start. Bianca Santos tallied 30 assists, 14 of which were for Chloe Marerro, who put them down for kills.

Barnstable 3, Falmouth 0: The undefeated Red Hawks improved to 10-0 this season after another sweep over Falmouth (25-9, 25-14, 25-5). Molly Fredo paced the Red Hawks offense with 14 kills, while Sadie Wellbeloved notched 27 assists. Maci Griesbauer had  three kills and an ace for the Clippers (1-8).

St. John Paul II 3, Sturgis West 1: The Lions (8-3) needed four sets to knock off the Navigators (25-17,18-25, 25-15, 25-22). Zlata Alioshka kept the offense ticking for the Lions, dishing out 11 assists and adding six aces. Molly Pulit was great in the passing game, recording 15 digs.

Dennis-Yarmouth 3, Greater New Bedford 0: The Dolphins improve to 8-3 on the year after sweeping Greater New Bedford (25-14 25-21 25-18). Grace Presswood recorded another double-double with 11 kills and 18 digs. Vivian Castano had 27 assists, and Ava Pecorella had 10 kills. Ellen Swanson led the Dolphins on defense with 12 digs in the match.

Cape Tech 3, Old Colony 0: The Crusaders improved to 6-2 this season after sweeping Old Colony (25-9, 25-19, 25-17).

Sandwich 3, Nauset 0: The Blue Knights (8-2) swept the Warriors (25-17, 25-11, 25-19) to earn their eighth win of the season. Sandwich used serving runs from Mia Mulcahy in the first set, and Alanna Schreibeis in the second set, to put some distance between them and the Warriors (1-10).

South Shore Voke 3, Upper Cape 0: The Rams (0-8) were swept by South Shore.

Old Rochester 3, Bourne 0: The Canalwomen (6-6) were swept by Old Rochester. Sarah Sweeny and Mary Berio Rowlands led the way defensively, with 13 and 10 digs respectively.

Boys Golf

Monomoy 6, Dennis-Yarmouth 0: Monomoy improved to 9-1 on the season after beating the Dolphins at Cranberry Valley. Jackson Rocco and Casey Huse both  shot in the 30s for the Sharks in the win. Rocco shot a 36, while Huse was a single stroke behind, shooting a 37.

St. John Paul II 4, Sturgis East 2: The Lions (11-5) won their sixth straight match of the season. The match was called early due to inclement weather, but by that point, the Lions were on their way to victory.

Bishop Stang 186, Sandwich 179: The Blue Knights were narrowly beaten at New Bedford Country Club. Thomas Hurley shared medalist honors with Matt Oliveria of Bishop Stangham, both shooting even 37's.

Bourne 262, Fairhaven 272: The Canalmen knocked off Fairhaven to improve to 8-3 on the season. Owen Surrette was top top finisher on the day, shooting a 41, and Griffin Kelly and Nate McDonnell rounded out the top three for the Canalmen with a pair of 43's.

East Bridgewater 119, Mashpee 82: The Falcons were defeated by East Bridgewater.
