HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP: Berigan reaches goal-scoring milestone for Hingham girls lacrosse

Shea Berigan scored 4 goals, including the 200th of her varsity career, to lead the Hingham High girls lacrosse team to an 18-10 win over Patriot League rival Scituate on Tuesday.

Kenzie Wilson, Ellie Fabbro and Caroline Connolly all finished with hat tricks for the Harborwomen (14-3).

Katie Tarsala led Scituate with 7 goals and 3 draw controls. Charlotte Spauling added a hat trick, an assist and a pair of draw controls.

GIRLS LACROSSE

Weymouth 16, Newton North 7: Freshman Kendall Rogers scored twice to lead the Wildcats to a Bay State Conference win. Cam Flaherty (5 goals, assist, 10 draw controls) and Megan Doyle (3 goals, 8 draw controls) starred for the Wildcats in a Bay State Conference win. Mira Flaherty had a hat trick, Kendall Rogers and Sammy Holmes each scored twice, and Anya Younie stopped 10 shots.

Abington 13, Southeastern 4: Olivia Maguire, Natalie Van Luling and Molly Joyce had hat tricks for the Green Wave.

North Quincy 13, Quincy 7: The Raiders won the city showdown.

Duxbury 21, Whitman-Hanson 2: Ella Nagle and Maddy Allen scored in the loss.

Archbishop Williams 17, St. Joseph 8: The Bishops improved to 14-5.

BOYS LACROSSE

Marshfield 13, Plymouth North 4: Casey Trodden had a hat trick, and Ean Scholz, Dan Kane and Ethan Grindle each added two goals for the Rams. Josh Hazzard, Charlie Carroll and Brady Quackenbush also scored, and goalies Finn Curley and Will Coggeshell had solid games.

BC High 13, Xaverian 5: Tim Rogers and Will Emsing each scored 4 goals to power the Eagles.

Duxbury 11, Whitman-Hanson 1: Delby Lemieux scored 4 goals for the Dragons.

Hanover 9, Pembroke 4: The Hawks topped the Titans in Patriot League action.

Brookline 9, Milton 8: The Wildcats dropped an overtime heartbreaker.

SOFTBALL

Stoughton 23, Sharon 1: Sophomore Alyssa Edwards went 5 for 5 and hit for the cycle in the win. Kerry Driscoll (also earned her 11th win on the mound) and Melody Casna also went 5 for 5.

South Shore Tech sweeps SSCA: Zoey Bradshaw finished with 2 home runs and 8 RBI as the Vikings swept a doubleheader, winning 22-0 and 17-9. McKenzie Jepsen, Grace McCarthy and Tiana MacDonald all joined in on the derby with a home run apiece.

Archbishop Williams 8, Matignon/St. Joseph 7 (8 inn.): Megan Hansbury was 3 for 4 with a home run and 3 RBI for the Bishops (13-7). Emma O'Neil (2 for 4, 2 runs) scored from first base on Kate McLeish's double to tie the game in the eighth.

Southeastern 10, Diman 4: The Hawks exploded for seven runs in the fifth inning and came from behind to beat Diman at Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School. Madeline Hornung went the distance for the Hawks, scattering 9 hits while striking out 9. Offensively, Bella Burke had a big game with 3 hits and 2 runs scored. Ava Setter had a pair of hits and 2 RBI. Hornung (RBI) and Julie Chisolm (RBI, run scored) each finished with a pair of hits. Erin Tripp contributed a 3-run home run in the victory.

Abington 17, Hull/Cohasset 4: Elsie Testa earned the win on the mound for the Green Wave (15-3) while Calli Pineau had 3 hits and 4 RBI.

Duxbury 18, Weymouth 8: Elizabeth Clancy hit a home run in the win for the Dragons.

Fontbonne Academy 8, North Quincy 6: Penelope Ortiz was 3 for 4 to lead the Ducks.

BASEBALL

Scituate 8, Silver Lake 5: Connor Stone homered, and Neil Sullivan (triple, run, 2 RBI), Jordan Barthel (2 for 2, double, 2 walks), Ben Whitman (1 for 4, run, 2 RBI) and Grayden Harris (1 for 3, RBI) also starred for the Sailors (13-6, 12-4 Patriot League).

North Quincy 6, Pembroke 3: Scott Ritz (2 hits, run, 2 RBI), John Lynch (2 hits, run, RBI), Vinny O'Leary (double, 2 runs) and Max Gaudiano (run, RBI double) starred for NQ in the Senior Night win. Kevin Pritchard earned the victory on the mound, allowing 2 earned runs over 5 innings.

Middleboro 4, East Bridgewater 3: The Sachems improved to 12-7 and clinched the South Shore League Sullivan Division title.

Abington 5, St. John Paul II 4: John Sellon notched his sixth win of the season for the Green Wave (13-5).

Dartmouth 11, Brockton 1: The Boxers lost on the road.

GIRLS GOLF

Braintree 5, Quincy/North Quincy 1: Freshman Jenna Zarges won her match for Q/NQ.

Duxbury 6, Hingham 0: The Dragons (13-0, 10-0) clinched the Patriot League title with the win. Charlotte MacCallum, Tierney Regan, Harper Capilli, Lucy Laviolette, Grace Landolfi, Layla Penn and Olivia Kyriakides all won their matches.

BOYS TENNIS

Whitman-Hanson 5, Marshfield 0: Aidan Hickey, Will Mulligan and Mateo Santalucia won in singles, and the Panthers (8-10) swept the doubles with the teams of Conor Battell/Tristan Baker and Zachary Lindsay/Brady Wright.

Quincy 4, Braintree 1: The Presidents finished the regular season at 10-10, which qualifies them for the tournament.

North Quincy 5, Pembroke 0: The Raiders won the Patriot League match.

GIRLS TENNIS

Whitman-Hanson 3, Abington 2: Alyson Tobias (third singles), Delaney Hughes/Sophie Ennis (first doubles) and Riley Getchell/Mary Lynam (second doubles) all picked up points for the Panthers.

Hingham 3, Duxbury 2: Katelyn Erikson (second singles), Maggie O'Keefe/Susie Anderson (first doubles) and Renee Martel/Sanya Khadivi (second doubles) picked up points for the Harborwomen (16-1, 15-0 in Patriot League). Caroline Sutliffe (first singles) and Cara Cass (third singles) picked up points for the Dragons.

Bridgewater-Raynham 4, Durfee 1: Nicole Kimball (first singles) and Eily Mitchell (second singles) rolled to wins for the Trojans. Annaliese Colwell and Marlena Colwell swept at first doubles.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Quincy 3, Weymouth 0: The Presidents blanked the Wildcats.
