NFA Wildcat Invitational

Shane Luca tied for third overall with a 5-over par 76 and East Catholic finished fourth (330 strokes) in the team standings at Norwich Golf Course.

Adam Erskin (80), Noah Carlson (84), Storm Thiel (90) and Evan Ansaldi (91) rounded out the scoring for the Eagles.

Portland (308) won the team title led by junior Luke Stennett, who shot a 1-over par 72. Killingly followed in second (316) with Xavier of Middletown (328) third. RHAM finished fifth (331).

East Catholic meets Tolland today at Tallwood Country Club while RHAM hosts South Windsor at Blackledge Country Club.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Enfield 3, Wethersfield 1

The Eagles split the first two games before closing things out in the CCC match in Wethersfield. Game scores were 25-17, 25-27, 25-18, 25-22. John Bellafronte finished with 19 kills, six digs, three blocks and two aces for Enfield (9-2) while Jacob Girard had 17 kills, five digs, one block and one ace and Evan Murphy added 44 assists, three kills and two blocks.
