HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP: Monomoy boys soccer wins behind five goal scorers

The Momomoy High boys soccer team defeated Falmouth Academy, 5-0, on Friday.

Five different Sharks (12-2-3) found the net in the win over the Mariners (5-11-1). Seamus St. Pierre, Rahvarian Smith, Ryan Laramee, Paul McLardy and senior Sam Ramler all scored for Monomoy in the win. Ramler's goal was his first in his career in his last regular-season game.

Boys Soccer

Bourne 1, Fairhaven 1: The Canalmen are now 8-5-4 after tying with Fairhaven. Mike Dankert headed home from Ben Hopwood's corner to score Bourne's goal.

 Plymouth North 2, Sandwich 0: The Blue Knights drop to 1-11-1.

Girls Volleyball

Barnstable 3, Quincy 0: Sadie Wellbeloved dished out 34 assists, 33 of which were evenly split among the trio of Lindsay Jones, Molly Fredo, and Charlotte Sullivan, in the Red Hawks (16-2) sweep over Quincy (25-17, 25-18, 25-17). Senior Mackenzie Vetorino and senior Lillie Ells each added five digs on senior night.

Sturgis East 3, Nauset 0: The Storm improved to 9-7 after sweeping the Warriors (26-24 25-16 25-16). Natalie Frederiksen (17 assists, five kills, six aces) led the way for the Storm. Brooke Bouchard added seven kills, and Bianca Collares had six digs and five kills. The Warriors drop to 4-12.

Duxbury 3, Bourne 0: The Canalwomen (10-10) were swept by Duxbury to close their regular season (18-25, 10-25, 6-25). Sarah Sweeny led the defensive effort with 19 digs, Mary Berio-Rowland added 14, and Elena Timo had 11 digs.

Girls Soccer

Sturgis West 4, Sturgis East 2: Lauren Farrell and Maddy Ward each had a goal and an assist as the Navigators (11-5-2) beat the Storm (5-11) to close the regular season. Mary Kudarauskis and  Sophia Lasnicki added the other two goals for the Navigators in the win.

Field Hockey

Sandwich 4, Middleboro 1: The Blue Knights improve to 16-0-1 after beating Middleboro. Emily Souke led the way for Sandwich with three goals and an assist for the fourth goal, which was scored by Khloe Schultz.
