Joao Faria made history on Monday.

In the boys soccer team's 8-3 win over Mashpee, the Rockland High junior scored six goals, giving him 30 for the campaign. That ties the single-season program record set by Joe Kimball (brother of Bulldogs coach Dan Kimball) in 2015.

Faria came up just short of the mark as a sophomore, finishing with 29 goals – still good enough to lead the South Shore League.
