BERLIN CENTER — Brooke Schantz scored 13 points and host Western Reserve pulled away in the second half for a 59-24 win over Sebring in a Mahoning Valley Athletic Conference girls basketball game on Thursday.

Alyvia Hughes added 13 points for the Blue Devils, who sank 12 3-point shots. Schantz made four of them. Madison Leone finished with 10 points for Western Reserve (7-7).

Devyn Reggi led Sebring (2-11, 0-8) with eight points.
