Jake Scallion, Walker Mason, Jacob O'Neil, Caleb Owusu-Ayim, Rishi Bhat and Ghe Hori Echols, North Hagerstown boys track and field — Scallion won the long jump (20-5 3/4), Mason won the 1,600 (4:51.47), O'Neil finished second in the 1,600 (4:56.02), Owusu-Ayim placed third in the 100 (11.66), Bhat finished third in the 3,200 (10:28.15) and Echols tied for third in the high jump (5-6) in the Charas Heurich Invitational at Callas Stadium.

Lauren Stine, North Hagerstown girls track and field — Stine won the 1,600 in 5:18.57 in the Charas Heurich Invitational.

Cameron Rejonis, Smithsburg boys track and field — Rejonis won the 400 in 52.71 seconds in the Charas Heurich Invitational.

Richard Sanon, Williamsport boys track and field — Sanon placed second in the 110 hurdles in 16.63 seconds in the Charas Heurich Invitational.

Cora Gentzel, Jenna Howe, Grace Ellis, Ella Fisher and Kayla Hawbecker, Smithsburg girls track and field — Gentzel placed third in the 1,600 (5:30.36) and 3,200 (12:15.00), Howe finished third in the 100 (12.84) and Ellis, Fisher, Gentzel and Hawbecker won the 4x800 (10:31.91) in the Charas Heurich Invitational.

Jacob Faith, Clear Spring boys track and field — Faith placed third in the long jump (18-9 3/4) and tied for third in the high jump (5-6) in the Charas Heurich Invitational.

Thursday, March 23

Skylar Smith, Vivian Mitlacher, Brooklyn McCusker and Hannah Swain, Hancock softball — Smith had three hits and two RBIs, Mitlacher had two hits, including a triple, and three RBIs, McCusker hit a two-run homer and Swain added two hits and struck out five over three innings in a win over Turkeyfoot.

Blaire Ray, Logan Trumpower, Ethan Hill and Shawn Thomas, Hancock baseball — Ray had three hits, three RBIs, five steals and eight strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings of relief, Trumpower had two hits, including a double, and three steals, Hill drove in two runs and Thomas struck out five in a three-inning start in a win over Turkeyfoot.

Maddie Kesselring, Eva Abbott, Bri Ellis, Stephanie Taylor and Norah Keller, Smithsburg girls lacrosse — Kesselring had three goals, five assists and five ground balls, Abbott had two goals, two assists and four ground balls, Ellis had two goals, three assists and three ground balls, and Taylor and Keller each added two goals and an assist in a win over Brunswick.

Sam Bono, Griffin Lowman, Isaac Grove, Preston Githens and JD Bowman, Smithsburg baseball — Bono had three hits, including a home run, five RBIs and five strikeouts, Lowman had three hits and three RBIs, and Grove, Githens and Bowman added two hits and three RBIs each in a win over South Hagerstown. The Leopards scored 20 runs in the first inning.

Blake Linn, Bruce Reynolds, Nate Cupaiuolo and Josh Hegbe, Smithsburg boys lacrosse — Linn scored four goals, Reynolds and Cupaiuolo added two goals each and Hegbe had five ground balls and three caused turnovers in a win over Brunswick.

Brady Romsburg, Williamsport baseball — Romsburg had three hits and three RBIs in a loss to Washington.

Paige Howe, St. Maria Goretti girls lacrosse — Howe scored three goals in a loss to Anne Arundel County.

Ava Nelson and Kalyn Lawrence, Boonsboro softball — Nelson allowed one earned run on seven hits and one walk while striking out three in an eight-inning victory over Francis Scott Key, and Lawrence added two hits and an RBI.

Alex Mattoon, Isaac Rhoderick, Tyler Bjerklie and C.J. Drumgoole, St. Maria Goretti boys lacrosse — Mattoon had four goals and three assists, Rhoderick had four goals, one assist and 11 ground balls, Bjerklie had three goals and two assists, and Drumgoole made 17 saves in a win over Hedgesville.

Wednesday, March 22

Henry Ortiz, Mac Stiffler, Dylan Shoemaker and James Ortiz, North Hagerstown baseball — Henry Ortiz pitched 4 2/3 scoreless innings to get the win against Smithsburg, allowing no hits and one walk while striking out five. He also had two hits and an RBI, Stiffler had a home run and two RBIs, and Shoemaker and James Ortiz each drove in two runs.

McKenna Weaver and Brianna Koontz, Williamsport softball — Weaver had two hits, three RBIs and pitched a complete game, and Koontz added two hits in a win over South Hagerstown.

Kayla Talbert and Makenna Anderson, North Hagerstown softball — Talbert hit two doubles and had 10 strikeouts in four innings of relief, and Anderson hit a walk-off, RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to beat Smithsburg.

Hutson Trobaugh and Brady Wallace, Clear Spring baseball — Trobaugh went 3-for-5 with a home run, double and four RBIs and pitched four shutout innings with six strikeouts in a win over Washington. Wallace went 4-for-4 at the plate.

Wyatt Divelbiss and Drew Lever, Williamsport baseball — Divelbiss drove in three runs, and Lever pitched 4 2/3 scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts to get the win against South Hagerstown.

Cora Farmer, Addison Crowder and Addison Wright, St. Maria Goretti softball — Farmer had three hits and seven RBIs, Crowder had two hits and three RBIs and Wright pitched a one-hitter with no walks and 15 strikeouts in a win over Mount Carmel.

Ty Hames and Andrew Kerns, St. Maria Goretti baseball — Hames hit two doubles, and Kerns struck out 11 in six innings pitched to earn the win against Brunswick.

Julia Hayes, Kendal Hoover and Caroline Gehring, Clear Spring softball — Hayes homered, doubled and drove in three runs, and Hoover and Gehring each had two hits and two RBIs in a loss to Mountain Ridge.

Bryson Hutzell, South Hagerstown baseball — Had two hits, including a triple, against Williamsport.

Adianna Dudley and Kimberly Herbert, Smithsburg softball — Dudley tripled, singled and drove in three runs, and Herbert had 14 strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings against North Hagerstown.

Madi Wade and Bethany Higgins, South Hagerstown softball — Each had two hits against Williamsport.

Maddie Kesselring, Bri Ellis, Norah Keller and Kendra Wilkinson, Smithsburg girls lacrosse — Kesselring had five goals, three assists, seven ground balls and four caused turnovers, Ellis had five goals and an assist, Keller scored twice and Wilkinson made 17 saves in a loss to FSK.

Tuesday, March 21

Kaydence Gaither, Vivian Mitlacher and Brooklyn McCusker, Hancock softball — Gaither had four hits and six RBIs, Mitlacher had three hits and three RBIs and McCusker had three hits, two RBIs and was the winning pitcher in a victory over St. Maria Goretti.

Q'Maree Winston, Michael Guerra, Noah Foltz and Gavin Landerman, North Hagerstown boys lacrosse — Winston scored four goals and Guerra, Foltz and Landerman each added two goals in a win over South.

Garrett Mazenko, Josh Kalons, Ayden Weakfall and Blake Linn, Smithsburg boys lacrosse — Mazenko had four goals and four assists, Weakfall had two goals and an assist, and Linn had a goal and three assists in a win over Francis Scott Key.

Marlie Snyder and Maddie Baine, Grace girls soccer — Snyder had two goals and two assists, and Baine scored two goals in a win over Mount Airy Christian.

Emily Shoemaker, Julia Hayes and April Pritchard, Clear Spring softball — Shoemaker went 2-for-2 with a triple, double and walk, and Hayes and Pritchard each drove in two runs in a loss to Spring Mills.

Joseph Fox, South Hagerstown boys lacrosse — Fox made 20 saves in a loss to North.

Monday, March 20

Ethan Earley and Lawson Aikens, Grace baseball — Earley had a double, five RBIs and four runs scores, and Aikens went 2-for-2 with a double, two walks and three RBIs and struck out three in a scoreless inning of relief.

Saturday, March 18

Will Oates, Ty Hames, Garrett Gibson, Jacob Hill, Nick Petruzzello, Colin Fulmer, Drew Gilpin and Andrew Kerns, St. Maria Goretti baseball — Oates had five hits and five RBIs, Hames had four hits, four RBIs and six strikeouts, Gibson had four hits and three RBIs, Hill had three hits, three RBIs and five strikeouts, Petruzzello had two hits and five RBIs, Fulmer had a homer and four RBIs, Gilpin had a homer and three RBIs, and Kerns added two RBIs and seven strikeouts in a doubleheader sweep of Southern Maryland Christian.

Zoey Williamson, Paige Howe and Madyson Davis, St. Maria Goretti girls lacrosse Williamson had five goals and an assist, Howe scored three goals and Davis had a goal and two assists in a win over Chapelgate.

Thursday, March 16

Parker Sweeney, Andrew Kerns, Will Oates and Garrett Gibson, St. Maria Goretti baseball — Sweeney hit a grand slam and an RBI double, Kerns hit a three-run homer and an RBI single, Oates had two hits and two RBIs, and Gibson added an RBI single in a win over Hedgesville.

Wednesday, March 15

Tyler Bjerklie, Alex Mattoon and C.J. Drumgoole, St. Maria Goretti boys lacrosse — Bjerklie scored four goals, Mattoon had three goals and three assists, and Drumgoole made 13 saves in a loss to St. Vincent Pallotti.

Monday, March 13

Trevor Owens, Ty Ambush and Evan Kotkin, Saint James boys lacrosse — Owens had six goals and an assist, Ambush had five goals and three assists and won 15 of 20 faceoffs, and Kotkin made 11 saves in a win over Archbishop Curley.

Tuesday, March 7

Andrew Sullivan, Seth Aliveto, Ty Ambush and Evan Kotkin, Saint James boys lacrosse — Sullivan and Aliveto had two goals and an assist each, Ambush won 26 of 31 faceoffs and Kotkin made 20 saves in a loss to Bullis.

Saturday, March 4

Andrew Sullivan, Seth Aliveto, Trevor Owens, Ty Ambush and Evan Kotkin, Saint James boys lacrosse — Sullivan had four goals and an assist, Aliveto also scored four goals, Owens had three goals and an assist, Ambush won 21 of 23 faceoffs and Kotkin made 10 saves in a win over Good Counsel.
