May 4—POTTSVILLE — Johannah Taylor and Maddie Hall homered and had four RBIs apiece to lead North Schuylkill to a 10-1 win over Pottsville on Monday in a Schuylkill League Division I softball game.

Violet Ryan, Joslin Stitzer, Emilee Slotcavage, Shaina DeAngelo and Morgan Dinger added two hits each.

In the circle, Dinger earned her 10th win by tossing a one-hitter with six strikeouts and four walks.

Victoria Fuss had Pottsville's only hit, a single, and the Crimson Tide's RBI.

Panther Valley committed six errors, giving Mahanoy Area nine unearned runs among its 10 runs.

Alexis Cooper had Panther Valley's lone hit, a single.

Hannah DeAngelo had three hits for the Blue Devils. Haely Sosna tripled and singled and losing pitcher Abbie Davis had two hits for Shenandoah Valley.

Helena Polinsky paced the Green Wave at the place four hits, including two doubles. Winning pitcher Emily Krammes followed with a double and two singles.

SCHUYLKILL HAVEN — Chloey Homan drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the eighth inning as Schuylkill Haven walked off a victory over Kutztown in a non-league game.

Kate Donne singled to open the winning rally, after which Alexis Davis reached on an error. After an intentional walk to Sara Grace Minnig to load the bases, Homan drew the walk on a 3-1 pitch to end the game.

Schuylkill Haven trailed 6-4 entering the bottom of the seventh, but knotted the game on a two-run error on a fly ball hit by Kate Wank.

Gravish limited the Scouts to two singles and struck out 10 while walking one.
