High School Sports: Marion County boys basketball, wrestling in postseason, softball, baseball open
North Marion won a historic game against Umatilla to push the Colts to their first boys basketball semifinal regional game since 2012. Wrestling sees the Colts in the winter sports postseason as regional tournaments begin on Friday.
Baseball and softball regular-season games begin this week. There are two in-county baseball games on opening day, Tuesday, Feb. 21. Four softball teams will take the field around Marion County on Wednesday.
There are tennis matches and lacrosse games throughout the week.
