High School Sports: Schedules, results for first week of winter sports in the New Year

After a brief respite for the holidays, girls and boys soccer is back to fill out a heavy week of high school sports as we enter 2023.

Despite missing a day this week because of the New Year's Day holiday, and despite the final days of winter break in Marion County, high schools have action the rest of this week.

We have rivalry matchups, private school doubleheaders, and a battle of undefeated boys' soccer teams. There are plenty of games to choose from to start the year.
