High school sports scores across the Treasure Coast for the week of Sep. 6-10

Friday's scores

Volleyball

Jensen Beach and Fort Pierce Central each went 3-0 on Day 1 of the Falcons’ East Coast Challenge in their respective pools.

The Falcons did not drop a set in their matches against Huntsville, Ala., Key West and Episcopal School of Jacksonville

The Cobras knocked off Martin County and won three-setters against Jupiter and Merritt Island

Luyeisy Marquez-Moreno totaled 24 kills in the three matches, Sydney Corbett had 23 kills and Azlyn Bass tallied 71 assists for Fort Pierce Central.

The Tigers dropped all three matches on the day to the Cobras, Jupiter and Merritt Island.

John Carroll Catholic d. Pine School 25-14, 25-16, 25-17: Kaylee Maikranz had 11 kills, eight digs and five aces to lead the way for the Rams (1-6). Ayonna Mitchell added eight kills and Danielle Levesque finished the match with 25 assists and seven aces for John Carroll.

St. Edward’s d. Master’s Academy 25-19, 25-20, 25-11: Kelly Barnett had 11 kills and eight digs to lead the Pirates (3-3) to victory. Caroline Zoltak added seven kills, Makena Rodriguez had eight digs and Natalee Rogers collected 19 assists and 13 digs for St. Edward’s.

Centennial d. John Carroll Catholic 25-16, 25-18, 25-15: Jewelianna Gonzalez had 7 kills to lead the Eagles (3-3) in the win. Shayla Henry had six kills and four digs, Isabel Narbutus had four kills and three blocks and Christina Capozzi added nine assists for Centennial.

Boys Bowling

South Fork 3, Lincoln Park Academy 2: Boston Chasse bowled a 186 game and Enrique Inostroza added a 161 game to lead the Bulldogs to victory.

Girls Bowling

Somerset College Prep 4, Treasure Coast 0: Emma Bordetsky bowled a 115 game and a 215 series to lead the Spartans in the victory. Abbi Pierro bowled a 158 game and a 249 series for the Titans.

South Fork d. Lincoln Park Academy: Keke Jackson led the Bulldogs with a standout performance in their victory.

Boys Bowling

Fort Pierce Central 4, Somerset College Prep 0: Charlie Passanante rolled a perfect game of 300 and had a 546 series to lead the Cobras to victory. Joel Ellis bowled a 279 game and a 482 series to lead the Spartans.

Vero Beach 4, Fort Pierce Westwood 0: Dimitry Emma bowled a 160 game and a 281 series to lead the way for Vero. Jacob Cason bowled a 157 game and a 238 series for the Panthers.

Girls Bowling

Somerset College Prep 4, Fort Pierce Central 0: Kayleigh Allen bowled a 119 game and a 232 series to lead the way for the Spartans. Allison Kepfer bowled a 91 game and a 176 series for the Cobras.

Vero Beach 4, Fort Pierce Westwood 0: Angeli Atayde bowled a 181 game and a 358 series to lead Vero in the victory.

Volleyball

Jensen Beach d. Treasure Coast 25-11, 25-15, 25-21: Lindsay Walch had 12 kills and four blocks and Catherine Hamilton added eight kills and four digs in the win for the Falcons (11-0). Lauren Duke had seven kills, Sophia Gannascoli had four aces and Raegan Richardson totaled 30 assists, seven digs and four aces for Jensen Beach.

South Fork d. Okeechobee 25-20, 25-18, 25-16: Lindsey Scammell had 11 kills and Aubrey Scammell had 10 kills and three aces to lead the Bulldogs (7-4) to victory. Alli Bowser had nine kills and 15 digs, Marley Navaretta had 15 digs and Emmie Love totaled 25 assists and four kills for South Fork.

Martin County d. Seminole Ridge 21-25, 25-21, 26-28, 25-17, 15-11: Grace Lee totaled 27 digs and 10 kills to lead the Tigers (3-1) to victory. Julia Glasco had nine kills and Andi Ritter had eight kills for Martin County.

Sebastian River d. Port St. Lucie 26-24, 25-14, 25-19: Melanie Raineri had six kills and five digs and Ava Rhea totaled 10 assists, five aces and four digs in the win for the Sharks (3-3).

Centennial d. Fort Pierce Westwood 25-6, 25-14, 25-22: Abby Dare had six kills and Shayla Henry added five kills in the win for the Eagles (2-3). Alexia Manditch added four kills and three blocks, Kayla Seiter had six assists and three aces and Christina Capozzi added 11 assists and five aces for Centennial.

Jupiter d. Fort Pierce Central 25-21, 21-25, 26-24, 16-25, 15-11: Sydney Corbett had 24 kills and 10 digs in the loss for the Cobras (7-3). Luyeisy Marquez-Moreno added 15 kills, nine digs and three blocks, Kailani Zezas had 10 kills and seven digs, Ivy Cooper totaled 23 digs and six assists and Azlyn Bass finished the match with 43 assists and nine digs.
