Flag Football

Martin County 6, Vero Beach 0: Cali Scornavacca threw a touchdown pass to Natalie Belisle in the first quarter that stood as the only points of the game to help the Tigers (10-0) remain undefeated on the season.

Laniyah Smalls, Belsile and Rachael Matuzsek all came away with interceptions to lead Martin County's defense to its fifth shutout of the season.

Baseball

Jensen Beach 4, Palm Beach Gardens 3: Dylan Fatovich blasted a walk-off home run in the bottom of the seventh to lift the Falcons (11-5) to their tenth win in a row.

Kevin Smith had an RBI double and Cian Copeland had an RBI single in fifth that tied the game in the fifth preceding Fatovich's heroics, which were part of a 2-for-4 night for the junior outfielder.

Jake Breen went the distance on the mound for Jensen Beach, allowing three unearned runs and recorded six strikeouts.

South Fork 4, Lincoln Park Academy 0: Conner Wiggins tossed a two-hit shutout, striking out 11 and went 1-for-3 and drove in two runs to lead the Bulldogs (9-9) to a road victory. John Roberts went 2-for-4 and scored two runs, Grant Jones had two hits and Emory Capps and Zach Mastellone each drove in a run for South Fork.

Jakob Warren went 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles in the loss for the Greyhounds (4-9).

Softball

South Fork 6, Treasure Coast 3: Abbey Moore’s two-run double in the sixth was part of a four-run inning to lead the Bulldogs (10-4-1) to their fifth straight win. Elli Hernandez went 2-for-3 with a home run and drove in two runs and Katie Kidwell struck out nine and allowed one hit and two earned runs in a complete game for South Fork.

Kennedy Moody went 1-for-3 with an RBI and Brylea Rusler allowed three earned runs and struck out seven in the loss for the Titans (6-9).

Jensen Beach 4, Palm Beach Gardens 3 (14 innings): Annalise Buncy’s solo home run in the top of the 14th lifted the Falcons (10-5) to a road win. Mallory Wheeler recorded 18 strikeouts and allowed two earned runs and at the plate went 3-for-7, Martha Jones went 2-for-6 with an RBI, Lus Segura went 2-for-5 with a double and Buncy had a two-hit night for Jensen Beach.

John Carroll Catholic 4, Lincoln Park Academy 2: Sammi Rychter went 3-for-4 with two RBI and Isabella Ramirez allowed five hits and two unearned runs in a complete-game effort in the circle to lead the Rams (10-5) to victory. Makayla Ortiz went 2-for-3 with a triple and Christina Leschander had a hit and an RBI for John Carroll Catholic.

Madison Davis struck out nine and allowed four unearned runs in the circle and at the plate went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI and Makayla Megnauth had two hits in the loss for the Greyhounds (9-4).

Wednesday's scores

Baseball

Jensen Beach 5, South Fork 0: Chris Knier struck out nine in 5⅓ shutout innings and Kaiden Jones had a two-run double as the Falcons (10-5) scored all five of their runs in the first two innings to win their ninth straight game.

Jones gave Jensen Beach the lead in the first inning with his double to right-center field and in the second, Jake Figman had an RBI single and the Falcons picked up two more runs on a passed ball and an RBI groundout from Cian Copeland.

Knier allowed only three hits and worked around three walks and in relief, Ty Velardo struck out a pair of batters in 1⅔ innings to combine for a three-hit shutout.

Connor Cantillo had two doubles and Dylan Fatovich had two hits for Jensen Beach.

John Roberts went 2-for-4 with a double, Conner Wiggins had a hit and drew two walks at the top of the batting order for the Bulldogs (8-9), who got three scoreless innings of relief from Roger Perez.

John Carroll Catholic 2, Delray Beach American Heritage 0: Colt Miller, Jake Rychter and Tracen Cameron combined to strike out 11 and allow just two hits as the Rams (12-7) knocked off one of 4A's top teams.

Miller struck out seven in four innings, Rychter struck out one in an inning and a third and Cameron went the rest of the way, striking out three to earn his fifth save of the season.

Matt Correa went 2-for-3 with a double and scored a run, Anthony Ferraro also had two hits and scored a run and Cameron had a hit and an RBI for John Carroll.

Softball

Jensen Beach 3, Vero Beach 0: Mallory Wheeler tossed a one-hitter, striking out 12 as the Falcons (9-5) scored all three runs in the fifth inning to earn the victory.

Martha Jones had two hits, including an infield single that brought in a run, Wheeler also had two hits at the plate and Annalise Buncy and Kylie Antoon each drove in a run for Jensen Beach.

Gabrielle Espich had a double for the only hit of the game for Vero (4-9).

Boys Lacrosse

Jensen Beach 13, Martin County 8: Gio Cascione netted five goals and Sean Allen scored four goals and picked up five assists to send the Falcons (8-8) to a road win. Hudson Wilfong scored two goals and picked up two assists and Connor Ferreira also scored two goals and Paolo Smith made 27 saves in goal for Jensen Beach.

John Carroll Catholic 1, Okeechobee 0: Camrin Weeks struck out five in five shutout innings as a run in the second inning held up in the win for the Rams (11-7). Caleb Fontus had two hits, Anthony Ferraro had a double at the plate and Tracen Cameron picked up his fourth save of the season for John Carroll.

Enoch Busbin went 3-for-3 at the plate in the loss for the Brahmans (8-7).

Girls Lacrosse

South Fork 18, Cardinal Newman 1: Avery Weikart scored four goals to send the Bulldogs (12-1) to their tenth straight victory. Zoe Williams added three goals and an assist, Ashley Stocker also scored three goals, Katie Hale added two goals and three assists, Kyah Cheatham and Molly O’Donnell each scored two goals, Victoria Francisco and Paisley Bergen both scored one goal and Sydnie O’Connor made seven saves in goal for South Fork.

Emma Ortiz went 2-for-2 with a double and a triple and scored three runs, Mackenzie Cisco went 2-for-3 with three RBI, Alice Dewaters had two hits, scored two runs and drove in a run, Kidwell went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI and Abby Tango had a double at the plate for South Fork.

Bayli Legg went 1-for-2 with a double in the loss for the Tigers (4-9).

Centennial 3, Vero Beach 1: Hailey Brereton allowed one hit and one run and struck out 13 and Autumn Prakash went 2-for-3 with a double and scored two runs to lead the Eagles (9-6) to victory. Victoria Hazelton had an RBI single and Alexandria Lee and Giana Devries each had an RBI for Centennial.

Master's Academy 10, Port St. Lucie 0 (6 innings): Connor Callery struck out six in five hitless innings and Johnny Featherstone went 2-for-4 with a double and drove in two runs to lead the Patriots (8-8) to victory. Nate Downey had two hits and two RBI, Mihir Manerikar had two doubles and Christian Snow had two hits and an RBI for Master’s Academy.

Girls Lacrosse

South Fork 12, Boca Raton 8: Zoe Williams netted a hat trick and Katie Hale added two goals and four assists to send the Bulldogs (11-1) to their ninth consecutive victory. Avery Weikart added two goals and an assist, Ashley Stocker also scored two goals, Molly O’Donnell, Victoria Francisco and Kyah Cheatham each scored one goal and Sydnie O’Connor made five saves in goal for South Fork.

Boys Lacrosse

John Carroll Catholic 4, Pine School 2: Jackson Miller scored two goals and Ben Bobrick made five saves in goal to lead the Rams (10-4) to victory. Brody Verdegan and Trevin Van Name added a goal apiece for John Carroll.

Jensen Beach 18, Cocoa 2: Connor Ferreira scored four goals to lead the Falcons (7-8) in the win. Sean Allen and Gio Cascione each added three goals and two assists, Hudson Wilfong scored two goals and picked up three assists, Matthew Elder scored two goals, Layton Mannon, Chris Saniscalchi, Carter Crook and Kevin Barry added a goal apiece for Jensen Beach.

Saturday's games

John Carroll Catholic 6, Key West 5 (8 innings), Key West 11, John Carroll Catholic 4: Isabella Ramirez went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and drove in two runs and pitched the final two innings to earn the win as the Rams (9-5) won in walk-off fashion. Sammi Rychter went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, Mikale Lemons had a double and an RBI, Alani Moody had a hit and an RBI and Cam Haughton struck out four and allowed three runs in six innings for John Carroll. In the loss, Rychter went 3-for-4 with a double and a triple and drove in two runs and Briley Orton had two hits for the Rams.
