Friday's scores

Baseball

Martin County 17, Centennial 2 (4 innings): Anthony Trigillo and Will Perry each had two hits and two RBI and Nick Robert struck out seven in three innings as the Tigers (3-3) cruised to victory.

Martin County scored 10 runs in the first inning and five more in the second as six different players drove in a run on the night.

Jake Schincariol went 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI, Wes Cimperman went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI, Brennan Refenning had a double and an RBI and Stone Preston drove in two runs for the Tigers.

Sebastien Germano had a double for the only hit of the game for the Eagles (2-3).

South Fork 12, Lake Worth 0 (5 innings): John Roberts struck out six and allowed only one hit in a complete game on the mound and went 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBI in the win for the Bulldogs (3-2). Curtis Vining had a double and two RBI, Alijah Quintero and Zach Mastellone each had a hit and two RBI for South Fork, who scored nine runs in the fourth inning.

Vero Beach 12, Lincoln Park Academy 5: Ashton Wetmiller went 2-for-3 with a pair of triples and drove in three runs to lead Vero (4-0) to victory. Keenan Jabeth went 3-for-4 with an RBI, Camren Perez had two hits and two RBI, Finley Holmes had two hits and an RBI and Cody Morgan struck out three in 3⅔ scoreless innings to earn the win on the mound for Vero Beach.

Steven Dwyer had a double and two RBI and Oliver Emerson went 2-for-3 with an RBI for the Greyhounds (1-5).

Softball

South Fork 7, Palm Beach Central 1: Katie Kidwell struck out nine and fired a no-hitter, getting help from Abbie Dewaters, who hit a solo home run in the win for the Bulldogs (3-1).

Jensen Beach 10, Okeechobee 1: Mallory Wheeler had a three-hit night with a double and drove in four runs and struck out 14 in a complete-game in the circle to lead the way for the Falcons (4-1). Martha Jones had three hits, including two doubles and drove in two runs and Lus Segura had two hits, including a double for Jensen Beach.

Boys Lacrosse

Jensen Beach 12, Dwyer 4: Connor Ferreria scored four goals to lead the way for the Falcons (3-3). Gio Cascione, Zack Zainitzer and Layton Mannon each scored two goals, Sean Allen and Heston Gardiner added a goal apiece, Hudson Wilfong and Allen each picked up two assists and Paolo Smith made five saves in goal for Jensen Beach.

Flag Football

Martin County 32, John Carroll Catholic 0: Cali Scornavacca threw three touchdown passes, two that went to Dakota Moberg to lead the way for the Tigers (2-0). Hailey Walsh and Delaney Gribben each had a rushing touchdown, Moberg and Julia Glasco each had an interception on defense and Natalie Belisle had seven flag pulls and Rachele Matuszek had six flag pulls for Martin County on defense.

Fort Pierce Westwood 7, Jupiter 6: Velise Destile took an interception back for a touchdown, had three interceptions in total for the game and accounted for 115 yards of offense to lead the way for the Panthers (2-0).

Jensen Beach 42, Port St. Lucie 0: Paige Bressman completed 22-for-26 through the air, threw for 191 yards and five touchdowns to send the Falcons (1-1) to victory. Dalia Yazji and Mia Quiles both caught two touchdown passes, Lauren Cioffi had a touchdown catch, Yasmin Newson took an interception back 55 yards for a touchdown and Sofia Cobo had nine flag pulls for Jensen Beach.

Baseball

John Carroll Catholic 5, Benjamin 4: Tracen Cameron hit a walk-off two run double in the bottom of the seventh to send the Rams (3-2) to victory. Cameron also pitched a scoreless seventh inning to earn the win on the mound for John Carroll Catholic, who got a 2-for-2, two RBI night from Ryan Chapman and Anthony Ferraro went 2-for-3 with a double and scored two runs.

Vero Beach 10, ES Edouard - Montpetit 0 (5 innings): Chase Wilson went 2-for-3 with a double and drove in four runs as Vero Beach (3-0) scored five runs in the fourth inning and five more in the fifth to earn the win. Blake Holshouser struck out six in four innings, Keenan Jabeth went 1-for-4 with a double and drove in three runs and Ashton Wetmiller went 2-for-3 with a double for Vero Beach.

Softball

Jensen Beach 6, Dwyer 4: Mallory Wheeler struck out nine in a complete game effort in the circle and added two hits and an RBI at the plate to lead the Falcons (3-1) to victory. Sebastian River 8, Space Coast 6: Jasmin Huber went 3-for-4 with a double and Grace Kapp and Ava Anderson each had two hits and an RBI in the win for the Sharks (5-0). Rily Biggers had a hit and two RBI and Victoria Wehrberger struck out nine in a complete game effort for Sebastian River in the circle.

Joeshua Lopez-Torres went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI and John Riordan struck out five in five innings in the loss for the Eagles (2-2).

Master’s Academy 4, Brevard HEAT 2: Mihir Manerikar struck out five in four shutout innings and Gian Brown went 2-for-3 with a double and a triple and scored two runs in the win for the Patriots (3-2). Christian Snow went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI and Johnnie Bona had a double and an RBI for Master’s Academy.

Softball

Sebastian River 15, Cardinal Newman 2: Amonty Johnson went 5-for-5, blasting a home run and drove in five runs as the Sharks (4-0) earned a road win. Jasmin Huber went 4-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI, Malia Binafif went 2-for-5 with a double and a triple and drove in three runs and Victoria Wehrberger had two hits and an RBI at the plate and struck out seven in the circle for Sebastian River, who scored eight runs in the seventh inning.

Okeechobee 5, Vero Beach 4: Rylie Tucker hit a three-run double in the sixth inning and drove in four runs for the game to lead the Brahmans (1-2) to victory.

Dayna Patten went 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI and struck out four in a complete game effort for Vero Beach.

Boys Lacrosse

St. Edward's 16, Vero Beach 3: Ricky Savage scored three goals as the Pirates (3-2) at one point scored 13 consecutive goals to down their city rivals.

The game was tied at 1-1 after the first period with Luke Herrman scoring for St. Edward's and Tanner Lenhardt scoring for Vero Beach, but the Pirates roared in the second period.

Savage scored a highlight-reel behind his head goal, Hermann scored his second goal of the game, Connor O'Brien added a goal from long range, Eli Barin netting two goals and Savage scoring again to put St. Edward's ahead 7-1 at halftime.

In the second half, Reed Sternberg, Will Russell and Harrison Hardin each scored two goals and Savage, Ford Norris and Dylan Redmon added goals for the Pirates, who had Norris and O'Brien each pick up three assists on the night.

Lenhardt led Vero (1-3) with two goals in the loss.

John Carroll Catholic 9, Melbourne Central Catholic 1: Brody Verdeegen and Jackson Miller each scored three goals to lead the Rams (3-2) in the win. Ben Bobrick made nine saves for John Carroll.

Oxbridge Academy 7, Jensen Beach 2: Hudson Wilfong and Dawson Warren picked up goals and Eric Galasso made 15 saves for the Falcons (2-3).

West Shore 17, Sebastian River 7: Gavin Ford scored three goals, Matthew Essig added two goals, Jordon Radock and Gavin Billingsley scored one goal in the loss for the Sharks (0-3).

Girls Lacrosse

Sebastian River 13, Lake Wales 10: Kaley Hellyer scored six goals to lead the Sharks (4-0) to their fourth straight win. Kenna Barley added four goals and two assists, Arabella Hepler scored two goals, Dezarae Katzor added a goal and Kayley Murano made 12 saves in goal for Sebastian River.

Flag Football

Martin County 20, Centennial 0: Cali Scornvacca had a rushing touchdown and threw a touchdown pass to Dakota Moberg to help the Tigers (1-0) win their season opener. Hailey Walsh added a touchdown run and on defense, Moberg and Julia Glasco had interceptions for Martin County.

Fort Pierce Westwood 13, Jensen Beach 6: Velise Destile had nine catches for 129 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Panthers (1-0) to a win in their season opener. Jihla Greer picked off two passes on defense and had 65 passing yards, Shanell Sullivan had 12 flag pulls and an interception and Danisha Celisca broke up three passes and had an interception for Fort Pierce Westwood.

John Carroll Catholic 12, Lincoln Park Academy 6: Paige Lalicon connected with Payton Lalicon on a touchdown pass and Lyndy Dempsey took an interception back for a touchdown to lead the Rams (1-0) to a season-opening win. Paige Lalicon finished the game 23-for-28, throwing for 108 yards, Payton Lalicon caught eight passes for 47 yards, Katelyn Cristaldi caught seven passes and added six flag pulls on defense and Dempsey had five flag pulls for John Carroll Catholic.

Kathryn Kinzer caught a touchdown from Leah Murphy for the Greyhounds (0-1) in the loss.

Baseball

South Fork 2, Fort Pierce Central 1: Grant Jones struck out six over five innings and allowed an unearned run and went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI at the plate to lead the Bulldogs (2-2) to the win. John Roberts went 2-for-4 with an RBI and Imarion Stanberry struck out four in two shutout innings to pick up the save for South Fork.

Ethan Schmidt struck out six in four innings and Rupert Blackwood, Jr. struck out four in two innings for the Cobras (1-2).

Jensen Beach 18, Lincoln Park Academy 1 (four innings): Chris Knier struck out all nine batters he faced and went 1-for-3 with two RBI to lead the Falcons (1-2) to their first win of the season. Connor Cantillo went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI, Cian Copeland went 2-for-2 with a double and a triple and drove in two runs and Kevin Smith, Ty Velardo, Kaiden Jones and Ezekiel Reinsel all drove in two runs for Jensen Beach, who had 17 hits as a team.

Treasure Coast 6, Suncoast 3: Logan Zavala went 2-for-4 with three RBI to lead the Titans (3-1) to victory. Jacob Suazo went 1-for-4 with two RBI and scored two runs, Bobby Johnson went 2-for-3 and scored two runs and Kyle Peterson struck out four in four innings on the mound for Treasure Coast.

Melbourne Central Catholic 7, Master’s Academy 6 (8 innings): Christian Snow and Zach Kovaleski each went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI in the loss for the Patriots (2-2). Nate Downey struck out five in 3⅓ scoreless innings on the mound and at the plate, Johnnie Bona went 2-for-5 with a triple and CJ Eiswerth and Broc Burns both had two hits for Master’s Academy.

Softball

Jensen Beach 4, Treasure Coast 0: Mallory Wheeler struck out 13 in a two-hit shutout in the circle and had a two-run triple at the plate in the win for the Falcons (2-1).

Alexa Bethel struck out 15 and allowed four unearned runs in a complete game effort for the Titans (0-2).

John Carroll Catholic 11, Master’s Academy 1 (5 innings): Cam Haughton struck out five in a complete-game effort and Briley Orton went 2-for-3 with two triples in the win for the Rams (3-1). Makayla Ortiz went 2-for-2 with a double for John Carroll Catholic.

Olivia Lore had two hits and Melissa Viersma had a triple at the plate in the loss for the Patriots.

Park Vista 4, South Fork 3: Alice Dewaters, Abby Tango and Emma Turull all had two hits in the loss for the Bulldogs (2-1). Katie Kidwell struck out eight and allowed three earned runs in a complete game effort for South Fork.

Girl Lacrosse

Vero Beach 13, Jensen Beach 10: Alexa Vega scored five goals and Amelia Elliott added three goals to lead Vero (6-1) to their fourth straight victory.

Vero Beach led 8-4 at halftime and thanks to three consecutive goals from Vega held a 13-4 lead midway into the second half.

The Falcons (5-2) mounted a late rally with two goals from Vanessa Barrera and pulled to within three goals after Kai Valko and Julia Kerr each scored their third goals of the game in quick succession with under two minutes to go.

Jazmyn Morris added two goals for Vero Beach.

Baseball

Sebastian River 4, Space Coast 3: Aiden Cameron went 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI and Kix Hofer struck out seven in 3⅔ innings of scoreless relief in the win for the Sharks (3-1). Cameron struck out six and allowed two earned runs in 3⅓ innings for Sebastian River.
