High school sports scores around the Treasure Coast for the week of Nov. 14-19

Friday's scores

St. Edward's junior swimmer Alexandra Stern finished 17th in the 200 individual medley and finished 22nd in the 500 freestyle at Friday's FHSAA 1A State Swimming and Diving Championships in Stuart.

Lincoln Park Academy freshman Dillon Spooner took 18th in the 200 individual medley and was 19th in the 500 freestyle for the Greyhounds.

Also for the Greyhounds, Lincoln Park Academy senior Sterling Carr finished in 21st in the 100 butterfly.

Boys Soccer

St. Edward’s 5, Pineapple Cove Academy 1: Alejandro Azcona, Marlon Dato-Slattery, Will Kourakis, Brogan Buck and Matt Vatland all netted goals in the win for the Pirates (3-0). Dato-Slattery and Patricio Argote each had two assists, Buck added an assist and Alex Lee made five saves for St. Edward’s.

Girls Soccer

St. Edward’s 0, Cocoa Beach 0: Meagan Baker made two saves in goal for the Pirates (0-1-1).

Girls Basketball

Centennial 45, Jensen Beach 42: Jailyn Williams scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Eagles (1-0) to a win in their season opener. Tykiria Benjamin added 15 points and eight steals for Centennial.

Elizabeth Fitzwater scored 19 points and Kiosha Smith added nine points for the Falcons (1-1).

Cocoa Beach 37, St. Edward’s 24: Chase Nelson scored nine points and Adterria Holloway added six points for St. Edward’s.

Girls Soccer

Pine School 4, John Carroll Catholic 0: Keziah Anderson netted a hat trick and assisted on Pippa Hilton-Green’s goal in the win for the Knights (3-0). Justina Southern made two saves to hold a clean sheet for Pine School.

Martin County 3, Centennial 0: Megan Murphy, Kaylin Lingis and Annabella Watson all pockedted goals to lead the way for the Tigers (2-2). Mia Calderon picked up two assists and Dakota Moberg made five saves in goal to record a clean sheet for Martin County.

South Fork 2, Fort Pierce Central 1: Makena Meyer netted both goals in the win for the Bulldogs (2-1). Emma Stewart and Savannah Tatum both picked up assists and Hailey Resetar made four saves for South Fork.

Girls Basketball

Treasure Coast 63, Fort Pierce Westwood 24: Jada Parson scored 32 points to pace the Titans (1-1) in the win. Telijah Filsaime scored 12 points and Tashauna Pinto added five points for Treasure Coast.

Jolly Greer scored 12 points and Daynicha Celisca added eight points for the Panthers (0-2).

Martin County 42, Okeechobee 38: Kaylee Gumina and Denasia Hilaire each scored 11 points to lead the Tigers (2-0) to victory. Amanda Gumina added 10 points for Martin County.

Semaj Jasper scored 20 points and Leta Adamo added 11 points in the loss for the Brahmans (1-1).

Girls Basketball

Jensen Beach 66, Fort Pierce Westwood 27: Lauren Cioffi and Kiosha Smith each posted 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Falcons (1-0) to a season-opening win. Dani Bell added 11 points and seven rebounds and Aubrey Rasmussen chipped in seven points and added eight rebounds, five assists and five steals for Jensen Beach.

Velise Destile scored 11 points in the loss for the Panthers (0-1).

John Carroll Catholic 35, St. Edward’s 27: Chelsey Francis scored 12 points and added five steals to lead the Rams (2-0) to victory. Morgan Scott added 10 points and five rebounds and Sammi Rychter scored eight points and added five rebounds and four steals for John Carroll.

Gabi Collazo scored 14 points in the loss for the Pirates (1-1).

Centennial 5, Sebastian River 1: Eddie Stephaniac and Kaylen Vilarson each scored two goals to lead the way for the Eagles (2-0). Julian Garcia added one goal, Diego Castillo picked up two assists and Jorge Rojas picked up an assist and made two saves in goal for Centennial.

St. Edward’s 4, Melbourne Central Catholic 1: Marlon Dato-Slattery scored two goals and added an assist in the win for the Pirates (2-0). Mark Moore and Jah Jeune each scored goals, Brogan Buck picked up an assist and Alex Lee made six saves in goals for St. Edward’s.

Girls Soccer

Four different Titans netted goals as Treasure Coast shut out the Tigers on the road.

Rebecca Barros and Natalya Paula scored goals within a minute of each other in the 12th and 13th minutes to give the Titans (1-0) a 2-0 halftime lead.

Findley Wessel tucked away a penalty kick in the 62nd minute and Victoria Valles capped the scoring in the 74th minute for Treasure Coast, who got seven saves and a clean sheet in goal from Kayleigh Marreel.

Wessel, Yessenia Gonzalez and Deanna Romero all picked up one assist for the Titans.

Dakota Moberg made seven saves in goal for Martin County.

Pine School 2, Glades Day 1: Keziah Anderson and Ava Pearl scored goals to lead the Knights (2-0) in the victory. Reese Habicht picked up an assist and Justina Southern made five saves in goal for Pine School.

Centennial 5, Okeechobee 0: Sammiah Dorelus, Yohanka Perez, Nayah Laguerre, Miley McCartya and Milagros Ochagavia all found the back of the net in the win for the Eagles (1-1).

Port St. Lucie 6, John Carroll Catholic 2: Katelyn Cristaldi and Carly Koomen both scored goals and Sarah Petersen made seven saves in goal for the Rams (1-1).

Master’s Academy 7, Somerset College Prep 1: Gracie Crooks, Olivia Wilkie and Keira Smylie all scored two goals to lead the way for the Patriots (2-1). Valentina Perez also added one goal and in goal, Katie Manzi made two saves and Annie Manzi made four saves for Master’s Academy.

Dwyer 5, South Fork 2: Makena Meyer and Chloe Ridley scored goals, Emma Stewart and Savannah Tatum each picked up an assist and Hailey Resetar made seven saves in goal for the Bulldogs (0-1).

Boys Soccer

South Fork 3, Martin County 1: Fernando Vera scored two goals and Gaspar Solis added another to lead the Bulldogs (1-0) to a win in their season opener.

Austin Lott netted the lone goal of the match off an assist from Cesar Villa for the Tigers (0-1).

St. Edward’s 6, Tradition Prep 2: Alejandro Azcona and Patricio Argote each scored two goals to lead the Pirates (1-0) to a win in their season opener. Brogan Buck scored a goal and picked up two assists, Will Kourakis added a goal and an assist, Jah Jeune and Marlon Dato-Slattery each tallied assists and Alex Lee made 10 saves in goal for St. Edward’s.

Marc Jackson and Gustavo Souza each scored a goal for Tradition Prep.

Girls Basketball

Vero Beach 69, Cocoa 59: Ratajah Dawson scored 19 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and added five steals and four assists to lead Vero (1-0) to a season-opening win.

Ariya Brown scored 16 points, Davionne Stinson added 14 points, five rebounds and four assists and Avian Rolle scored 12 points, grabbed seven rebounds, dished out six assists and had four steals for Vero Beach.

Okeechobee 53, Fort Pierce Central 47: Semaj Jasper scored 15 points and Sanye Washington added 12 points to lead the Brahmans (1-0) to a season-opening win. Chlor McCullers added 10 pints and Leta Adamo chipped in seven points for Okeechobee.

Aqunais West and Sha’mya Robinson each scored 15 points and Harmoni Randolph added 12 points for Fort Pierce Central.

Martin County 53, Sebastian River 30: Denasia Hilaire scored 14 points and Kaylee Gumina added 13 points to lead the Tigers (1-0) to a season-opening win. Amanda Gumina added eight points and Anna Witt chipped in seven points for Martin County.

Catherine Holderman scored 10 points and Shyauna Shelly added eight points for Sebastian River.

Jensen Beach 2, North Broward Prep 1: Jack James netted both goals in the match for the Falcons (1-0) in its season opener. Gavin Harte picked up an assist and Michael Hinson made three saves for Jensen Beach.

Girls Soccer

Vero Beach 8, Centennial 0: Tashiya McMillon and Ava Johnston each scored two goals to lead Vero (1-1) to their first win of the year. Isabel D’Albora, Aimee Echeverria, Journey Setzer and Cece Lander all added one goal and Sophie Leyda made three saves in goal for Vero Beach.

Master’s Academy 3, St. Edward’s 1: Liz Campbell scored the lone goal of the match for the Pirates (0-1) and Meagan Baker made seven saves in goal for St. Edward’s.

Girls Basketball

St. Edward’s 44, Tradition Prep 21: Aiala Arbulo scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Pirates (1-0) to a season-opening win. Sommer Soderman and Chase Nelson each added seven points and Dhanika Perez and Gaby Collazo chipped in five points apiece for St. Edward’s.
