High school tennis: North Hall sweeps Seckinger in Region 8-4A matches
Feb. 28—On Tuesday, North Hall's boys and girls secured 5-0 wins against Seckinger in Region 8-4A play to move to 2-0 in league contests.
Up next, North Hall faces East Hall on Wednesday.
FLOWERY BRANCH BOYS 4, EASTSIDE 1: Brayden Jackson and Logan Magnuson won in singles for the Falcons on Tuesday in Covington.
In doubles, the pairings of Josh Warren/Ty Weatherley and Eli King/Reid Barnes won for Flowery Branch.
FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS 4, EASTSIDE 1: Sandra Hernandez and Richney Nguyen won in singles play for the Lady Falcons on Tuesday.
In doubles, Violet Schultz/Haley Bursinger and Casey Beaver/Casey Skaggs won for the Lady Falcons.
GAINESVILLE GIRLS 5, APALACHEE 0: The doubles teams of Angelina Garcia and Hannah Emerson at No.1 and Gracey Pandy and Nicole Fernandez each scored 6-0, 6-0 victories to help the Lady Red Elephants to a Region 8-6A road sweep at Apalachee on Tuesday.
Sunence Patel, Anna Grace Erwin and Addison Hayes all posted wins in singles action for Gainesville, which is back in action Thursday at 4 p.m. against Lanier at Longwood Park.
