The Lady Eagles (6-10) dropped the first set Monday to Lincoln County (8-11) on Senior Night in Berea.

They quickly recovered, though.

Madison Southern rallied for a 3-1 win over the Lady Patriots. The Lady Eagles won by scores of 23-25, 25-14, 25-21 and 25-15.

Julia Bingham had 20 kills, 18 digs, three blocks and two aces.

Abby Dees had six blocks, 5 kills, five aces and four digs. Bre Dawes had 22 digs and six aces. Reagan Burns had 21 assists and 11 digs. Jordyn Walker had 10 digs and nine assists.

Anna Seals had 15 digs.

Abby McMullin had five digs, four aces and three kills. Sierra Johnson had seven digs. Addy Spaudling had three digs and two kills, while Amber Short had one kill.

The game marked the third match-up of the season between the teams.

Lincoln County picked up a 3-1 win on Aug. 25 at home, but the Lady Eagles topped Lincoln County on Sept. 3 at the Rockcastle Invitational Tournament.

Southern is set to return to action today at home against Scott County.
