High school wrestling: Here are the Boone County wrestlers who will compete at state
The regular season has come and gone, and districts have concluded in wrestling. It's time for state.
Boone County will have healthy representation at the state wrestling championships, with Centralia, Hallsville, Hickman, and Southern Boone sending plenty of wrestlers.
Centralia leads all Boone County high schools with 11 wrestlers competing for titles. Southern Boone is right behind, sending 10 wrestlers to Mizzou Arena. Hickman will send nine, and Hallsville will send seven.
This year's championships will also serve as a send-off for Rock Bridge's Carter McCallister, the Missouri signee who's looking for his third MSHSAA championship, and second in a row, before he leaves the high school level.
