Meteorologist George Waldenberger said Sunday afternoon will be in the low 90s in Orlando away from the beaches. Storms will begin to fire up and become more numerous as evening approaches.
Scattered storms will taper during the evening after bringing an isolated risk of strong storms or heavy rains.
After a quiet night and Monday morning, Monday afternoon looks stormy as well, keep that in mind for the afternoon drive. Widespread rains and heavy downpours bringing lightning will be the main threats.
We’ll do a repeat for Tuesday with the evening storms, with some dryer air possible by the next weekend!
