Madison County Historical Society Family Fun Walk — 10 a.m to 4 p.m. North Main Street, Edwardsville. Reenactors at each of seven stops along the route of this free walk provide insight and entertainment on a schedule that runs all day with multiple performances at each venue. A schedule of performances will be available at each of the tour stops on the day of the event or, to plan ahead, it can be found on the Society’s Facebook page or on their website, madcohistory.org. Copies of the tour schedules will also be available at the Madison County Archival Library at 801 N. Main Street. Reservations not required.

Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra: Opening Weekend with Hilary Hahn — 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24. Stifel Theatre, 1400 Market St., St. Louis. Highland Farmers’ Market — 4-8 p.m. Highland Square, 914 Main St., Highland. Local farmers, cottage food makers, and crafters will be present to sell a variety of produce, meats, desserts and more. Each Tuesday morning a map will be posted on the Highland Parks and Recreation Facebook page showing what vendors will be present.

Parents of Addicted Loved Ones — 7-8:30 p.m. Online via Zoom. The PAL group provides education, support and hope to family members and loved ones of someone who has an addiction of substance use disorder. Free and open to all. A family-friendly fundraising event with activities in the grandstands, food trucks, a Kids Zone (with bounce houses, crafts, games), a cornhole tournament Saturday afternoon, a vendor fair Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., spectator camping on the south side of the track, and a whole lot of entertainment on the track with the 40 Team during the Challenge Hours.
