Highland Street in front of Doherty High to close for water project
WORCESTER — The eastbound side of Highland Street, in front of Doherty Memorial High School, will close starting Monday due to a water line project, the city announced.
Highland Street will be closed every day from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., from Newton Square to Park Avenue.
Detours will be in place but the city is advising drivers to seek alternate routes.
Excavation is scheduled to continue until April 28.
