HIGHLIGHTS: No. 17 Rams late comeback falls short in the series finale to the Patriots

SAN ANGELO, TX— The 17th-ranked Angelo State Rams baseball team dropped game four against the UT Tyler Patriots 11-9 Sunday afternoon at Foster Field at 1st Community Credit Union Stadium.

Angelo State initiated the comeback during the bottom of the eighth inning, stringing together four consecutive RBI doubles courtesy of Justin Harris, Jacob Guerrero, Tayton Tredaway, and Tripp Clark. Following these hits, Conagher Sands singled through the right side, adding another run and bringing the score to 10-9 as they headed into the ninth inning.

Mason Bryant provided four innings of relief for the Rams, conceding three runs on six hits while recording five strikeouts.

The Rams will face Arlington Baptist at home on Wednesday, February 28th.
