Highmark Health changing work-from-anywhere policy

That allowed employees who weren’t clinical or top management to work in the office, from home or elsewhere as a rule following the pandemic-related disruptions that began in March 2020 for the organization with $26 billion in revenue in 2022.

But the Highmark Health’s Work From Anywhere policy didn’t apply to about 250 Highmark Health leaders, along with a majority of AHN employees who work in clinical roles, who kept going to their workplaces like hospitals and clinics during the pandemic to provide critical services. And many Highmark Health and AHN employees also volunteered their time for Highmark’s many communitywide Covid-19 vaccination clinics throughout 2021.
