Hilaria Baldwin reveals she's pregnant again after miscarriage, shares strong heartbeat

Hilaria Baldwin shared that she is pregnant again after revealing she suffered a miscarriage this year.

The mom of four with actor Alec Baldwin posted the news on Instagram alongside a video and audio of a beating heart.

"It is still very early … but we have learned that there is a little person inside of me," she wrote.

"The sound of this strong heart makes me so happy – especially because of the loss we experienced in the spring. We want to share this news as we are excited and don’t want to hide the pregnancy. These first few months are tough with exhaustion and nausea … and I don’t want to have to pretend that I feel ok," Baldwin said.

Baldwin, 35, asked for privacy from the paparazzi because she doesn't need the added stress.

"My one request is that the media not send paparazzi to follow me or buy independent paparazzi photos, hence encouraging them. I want to remain peaceful during this very early time in my pregnancy and getting chased around by cameras is not in the doctor’s orders," she finished her post.

Baldwin said in July that she would share any pregnancy news as soon as she knew and that questioning from the media was "extra upsetting" after the loss of her previous pregnancy.

Her husband, Alec, 61, said this month that the couple "definitely planned on having a fifth one."

Baldwin was open about her experience with miscarriage, sharing when she was "likely experiencing" a loss, then revealing "there was no heartbeat" at a scan.

She had a dilation and curettage (D&C), a surgical procedure to clear tissue from the uterus that is usually done after a first-trimester miscarriage.

The author and yoga instructor said her lost "little soul" sparked a big and much-needed conversation about miscarriage.

"This is an issue that so many suffer with in silence ... because those are the rules we follow," she wrote in an Instagram post published two weeks after her own miscarriage. "As I have said to so many: this experience wasn’t just about me and my journey, it is about anyone, perhaps you, or someone you know, who has suffered a loss. It is about continuing a conversation, knowing we need not have shame or fear ... so that we can heal ... and those who will unfortunately follow will have a community to turn to."

Hilaria and Alec's kids are Carmen, 6; Rafael Thomas, 4; Leonardo, 2 and Romeo, 1. Alec has a 23-year-old daughter, Ireland, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.
