Hilary Duff and her ex Joel Madden were spotted on a date night — but it's definitely not what you'd think!
Over the weekend, the former couple headed out on a group date and were joined by their respective significant others, Matthew Koma and Nicole Richie.
The very pop-punk date night also involved Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz and his longtime girlfriend, Meagan Camper.
It all went down at Scratch Bar & Kitchen in Los Angeles, documented with a photo posted by music executive Josh Abraham.
The sweet snap proved that Hilary and Joel have put any issues behind them since their split over a decade ago.
The former couple, who have an eight year age gap, dated from 2004 until 2006. Hilary has since described their relationship as "all-encompassing" and "intense."
Shortly after their split, Joel began dating his now-wife Nicole and it's rumored that several songs off of Hilary's 2007 album, Dignity, were about Joel's new relationship.
