Hi, hello! I think I finally realize what Lizzie McGuire meant when she said "this is what dreams are made of!" Turns out, it's not performing as your pop star doppelgänger during a school trip in Italy. No, my friends, I'd venture to say Lizzie was actually foreshadowing the creation of the new Disney + streaming platform, which is bringing us all new Lizzie McGuire episodes because 2019 was rough and we need something to get excited about. Her power.

For the past few days, Hilary Duff has been teasing some behind-the-scenes photos on set of the Lizzie McGuire reboot. On Thursday, Hilary took to her Instagram Stories to show what her hair will look like in the new show, and it's basically the same bangs you know and love from your childhood. In case you forgot, this is what Lizzie's bangs used to look like back in the early aughts:

Unfortunately, the Lizzie McGuire reboot hasn't hit the new streaming platform just yet, but luckily there are plenty of reruns to last everyone until it premieres. When it does finally drop, fans will catch up with a 30-year-old Lizzie who has been described as "a flea market shopper and a Brooklyn cool girl" who is engaged to someone who isn't Gordo. A crime, if you ask me. But don't worry, Disney is making up for that rude plot twist by filling some screen time with Ethan Craft.
