WASHINGTON – Some fights never die.
The rivalry between President Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton was on full display once again Tuesday after Trump took to Twitter to comment on the former secretary of state not running for the White House in 2020.
"'(Crooked) Hillary Clinton confirms she will not run in 2020, rules out a third bid for White House.' Aw-shucks, does that mean I won’t get to run against her again?" Trump wrote of his Democratic rival in the 2016 election. "She will be sorely missed!"
Clinton responded with a gif from the 2004 teen movie "Mean Girls" that included the words, "Why are you so obsessed with me?"

Clinton's response opened the floodgates to others who responded with their own memes, gifs and quotes from the movie.
"He’s trying to make 'Crooked' happen. Stop trying to make “Crooked” happen Donald," one Twitter user wrote, quoting the famous "stop trying to make fetch happen" line from the high school flick.
Another chimed in, saying "O....M....G!!!!!! Hillary you truly are the queen of shade!"

Others online pointed out that Trump, known for nicknaming his critics and political rivals, will have plenty of Democrats to focus on in the next year's election.
"Let not your heart be troubled President Trump - there are dozens of Democrat loons, crackpots and degenerates chomping at the bit to take her place - and be your debate punching bag in 2020!" one person wrote on Twitter.
Already, more than a dozen Democrats have said they were running or announced exploratory committees ahead of an official announcement.
Trump beat Clinton in the 2016 race, winning 307 out of the needed 270 electoral votes. Clinton received 232 electoral votes.
Clinton did win the popular vote by 2.8 million votes. She had previously run for president in 2008 against fellow Democrat Barack Obama, who went on to win the election.
President Trump consistently brings up Clinton, her email scandal and his 2016 election win during rallies and other events.
Since taking the White House, he has urged the Justice Department and special counsel Robert Mueller, who is investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election, to investigate the handling of her emails and a uranium deal with Russia.
His calls have been echoed by some conservatives but come amid a flurry of federal investigations examining any collusion with Russia in the 2016 election and possible obstruction of justice, along with probes examining his businesses and inaugural committee.
