The Hills' Brody Jenner announces engagement to Tia Blanco

Brody Jenner has proposed to his girlfriend Tia Blanco in a sweet proposal.
The Hills star surprised Blanco, who's pregnant, during their garden baby shower in front of their loved ones.
In a clip posted to Instagram, Jenner popped the question to a very surprised Blanco, who hugged him immediately.

"Can't wait to love you forever," he captioned the video adding a ring emoji.
Jenner's mum Linda Thompson commented on the proposal, gushing over the couple.
"The perfect culmination to a beautiful romance, and an incredibly wonderful day! Congratulations… I love you both so very much!" she commented on her son's post.
For her part, Blanco thanked Thompson for throwing her the perfect baby shower, adding: "Although I didn't need a ring to call you family, I'm so happy to officially call you my mother-in-law!"

Jenner rose to fame when taking part in reality show The Hills in 2006. He returned to the series in 2019 for the short-lived sequel The Hills: New Beginnings, though he revealed he was dissatisfied with the new show as a whole.
"It just wasn't the same experience," he told People after New Beginnings was cancelled.
"It was very stressful. There was a lot of manipulation involved. It was just a lot."
Jenner explained that his frustration stemmed from producers not having brought in a younger cast despite previously announcing they would do so, hence pressuring the OG cast to provide "forced" storylines.
"We needed a younger cast to be on there. I didn't mind coming in and out and filming and living our authentic lives of where we were at, at that moment, but everything else felt very forced and pushed," he said.
It seems that The Hills has learnt its lesson since as a younger, more diverse cast will be indeed introduced in an already announced reboot titled The Hills: Next Gen.
