Hillsdale College announces new podcast network and debut of 'The Larry P. Arnn Show'

HILLSDALE — Hillsdale College has launched a new podcast, "The Larry P. Arnn Show," which features college President Larry Arnn interviewing distinguished guests to Hillsdale’s campus.

The podcast will be hosted on the college’s new, integrated Hillsdale College Podcast Network, which also features several other podcasts, including "The Radio Free Hillsdale Hour," "The Hillsdale Dialogues" and "The Hillsdale College K-12 Classical Education Podcast."

“The new 'Larry P. Arnn Show' is now available on the Hillsdale College Podcast Network, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with our audience,” said Scot Bertram, director of the network. “This podcast is just one part of our mission to radiate the learning, teaching and discussions that happen here on campus to people everywhere. We invite you to tune in to 'The Larry P. Arnn Show' and all of all other programs to explore the rich intellectual content that Hillsdale College has to offer.”

The podcast's first guest is Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who visited Hillsdale's campus on April 6. The conversation between Arnn and DeSantis covers a wide range of topics, including education reform, freedom and the use of executive power.

Hillsdale College first started audio productions in 2012 with "The Hillsdale Dialogues," a weekly radio hour hosted by nationally syndicated radio personality Hugh Hewitt. It explores the great ideas of Western and American civilization through conversations with Arnn and other members of Hillsdale’s faculty.

In 2019, Hillsdale College began producing its own content with "The Radio Free Hillsdale Hour," hosted by Bertram, which features interviews with Hillsdale faculty, staff and students as well as guests from around the country. It covers topics ranging from politics to culture to history. In 2022, it was downloaded more than 1.2 million times and was syndicated on 36 radio stations across the country.

The Hillsdale College Podcast Network’s shows will be available on major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Google Podcasts. Listeners can subscribe to the network's shows for free and receive new episodes as they become available.
