Hillsdale parliamentary procedure teams win district competitions, head to state finals

JEROMESVILLE ‒ Hillsdale High School FFA novice parliamentary procedure team and senior parliamentary procedure team competed in the sub-districts contest hosted at Hillsdale High School on Nov. 22.

Both teams captured first place.

On Nov. 30, both teams competed in the district contest at Mapleton High School, where both won first place and qualified for state competition.

The novice team will be competing in the state contest on Dec. 10 and the senior team on Dec. 17 in Delaware.

The FFA members that participate in the novice parliamentary team are: Aiden Hoffman, Makayla Schwendemen,Kahlen Simmons, Joey Swazey, Carter Erandio, Blake Schwan, Carmen Gentry, Emma Linder, Aurora Martin, Jacey Slagle and Hunter Hickey.

The senior team consists of: Gage Madsen, Ethan Miller, Dally Meek, Baylee Weber, Zoey McBride, Owen Hoffman, Gabe Murawski, Braydon Rakovec and Seth Crytzer.
