Hilton Short Hills To Reopen After 2-Year Closure; Offers Deals

MILLBURN, NJ — The Hilton Short Hills — a 314-room hotel across from the Mall at Short Hills — will reopen March 1 after being closed since May 2020 due to the COVID pandemic.

The owners say they'll offer new safety measures and special deals when they reopen.

For "added peace of mind," they say, new cleaning and disinfection processes and employee training have been developed with Reckitt, the maker of Lysol and Dettol.

The hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool, tennis courts, and 21,000 square feet of meeting space including a 300-seat ballroom.

They will reopen the Retreat Bar & Rooftop for fireside cocktails and light food later this year.

Deals And Details

They'll be offering some deals in conjunction with Nordstrom and the Paper Mill Playhouse, the area theater:

• The Nordstrom Shop & Stay Package includes accommodations in a king junior suite, a $100 Nordstrom gift card and a personal stylist.

• Guests can book the Paper Mill Playhouse Package, available March 24 through April 24, which includes accommodations and tickets for two to the world premiere of The Wanderer at Paper Mill Playhouse.

• For event planners, Hilton Short Hills is awarding triple Hilton Honors Points and a 10 percent discount on food, beverages and audio/visual for meetings booked through May.
