Hindus in India mark end of sun god festival

"Chhath Puja", the four-day festival, culminated on the sixth day after Hindu festival of lights Diwali and holds significance for married women who observe a fast and stand in waist-deep water, and present religious offerings to the Sun god.

This year, coronavirus has dampened the spirit of all the festivals as the cases are rising daily in the country with the total crossing 9 million.
